The interesting point about that is the increasing irrelevance of the traditional media. The whole Trump revolution was possible because he was able to go over the head of the left-wing media gatekeepers and talk directly to the people (his people). That is partially why the power elite in the US is trying so hard to stop Trump running - they know that in the end they can't actually control him or his message. Sure, they can use social media and the various organs of the state (FBI/CIA) to kill (for a time) stories like the Hunter Biden laptop and the treachery of the Biden Crime Family. But ultimately the new media allows the truth to filter through.
That is why the slow movement of Fox toward being just another left-wing mouth-piece isn't really all that important. Disappointing but, in the scheme of things, not of a great consequence.
Twenty years ago, the power elites could have eliminated the Carlson threat by simply taking away his microphone. But they can't do it any longer and that terrifies them. Which of course leads to raids on their opponents houses and businesses, phoney indictments and fixed investigations.
