Good speech at the National Press Club today by Linda Burney. As the Minister for Indigenous Australians, she called out the racists and bigots who are trying to introduce Trump style politics into the 'No' campaign. There is no doubt the lies and deception being propagated by the likes of the racists Dutton are having an effect, as he scares Australians into voting 'No'.

Still no explanation as to what is an aborigine ?
Will someone with 1/256th part aborigine get to vote in the Voice
organisation with the same power as a 100% aborigine ?

An Australian Community Media poll reveals that the rural and regional overall vote on the race-based Voice stands at NO 55%, YES 38% and 7% undecided in rural areas.

In regional areas the NO vote was 57%, YES 38%, and undecided 8%.

The area polled covered Canberra, Newcastle, Wollongong, Tamworth, Orange, Albury, and Wagga Wagga in New South Wales. It also covered Ballarat, Bendigo, and Warrnambool in Victoria, as well as Launceston and Burnie in Tasmania.

72% of respondents also believed the federal government had not adequately explained the Indigenous Voice and its functionality.

In the meantime, the '5,000' YES voters who made fools of themselves on Sunday turned out to be an actual 700 to 800, with some estimates as low as 500. The overhead footage seen on TV certainly favoured the very much lower estimates.

The Leftists Council said that the footage was taken after most people went home, but Australians these days understandably don't believe amateur politicians any more than they believe real ones.

Bezza,
The whole point is that if it's in support of the Yes agenda, it doesn't matter what heritage a voter is.
The whole point of the No vote is to prevent the greatest social & economic disaster to ever strike Australia by given a handful of vengeful & incompetent activist a chance to achieve that.
I'v said before that the Indigenous Australians are part of Australia & that's it. To make them out to be something they're not is deception & that is what the VOICE is all about.
We already have so many bureaucracies working against society from every angle & the Voice would be the nail in the coffin for this Nation. Why ? Because I have yet to see any of these confused heritage vengeful activists displaying genuine integrity let alone give a damn about the people in the remote communities !

This is really getting to be beyond the pale.

You guys need to stop spreading the lies and
misinformation.

Shame on all of you. Disgusting behaviour.

Any rational person should believe that every person has a
right to participate in the decisions that affect them.
Too often First Australians are denied this right.

And lets get the facts straight.
The Uluru Statement From The Heart is the culmination of
13 Regional Dialogues with First Nations People which
arrived at a consensus about what constitutional
recognition should look like.

More than 1,200 Indigenous Leaders representing 13 First
Nations Regional Dialogues were part of the process.

The Uluru Statement is an invitation from our 1st Nations
people to ALL Australians.

If anybody turns down this invitation - they are not a
true Australian. Australians believe in egalitarianism and
a "fair go" voting NO goes against Australian values
and beliefs and those people who intend to vote NO should
go live elsewhere. They do not belong in this country!

When you understand Makarrata - Uluru Statement from the Heart it means cripple your opponent in the legs, so his ability is hobbled. Who oppresses elite aboriginals who proposed the Voice?

Linda Burney is the greatest asset for the "No" case as she claimed at the Press Club that she wants to hear about health, education, housing, and employment for aboriginals. That is her current portfolio as Minister already and if she is incapable of dealing with it now, she must be removed and put someone into the position who fulfils her role. SHE IS INCOMPENTENT TO HELP ABORIGINALS, EVEN ON $400,000 PER ANNUM.

The Voice according to others will have access to the Reserve Bank, National security, and natural resources etc. There will be nothing the Voice cannot make positions about as it is their Country.
