In your attempts to stoke race hate against Black Australia you invent preposterous lies like that, the fore mentioned is typical. Given the hate you and those of your ilk engage in against Aboriginal people now, one can only imagine the levels of depravity you extreme would stoop to if you were ever to gain power. Fortunately for Australia only half a percent support your style of extremism, and we are safe in the knowledge that its mostly ratbags pissing in the wind.

I watched the Australia Day Concert being again
screened Sydney Harbour outside the Opera House.
It was a magnificent event - with a huge crowd. People
singing and dancing together. They certainly did not
look like a "hate-filled mob" to me. On the contrary -
it was positive and quite wonderful.

The only "hate-filled" expressions that I'm reading are
on this forum. Sad to see that. But secure in the knowledge
that these people are only a small minority who will end up
on the dung heap of history. Like the small 10% who claim to
speak on behalf of the Indigenous People - whereas 80%
support The Voice.

Because they are lunatics? Self-absorbed? Inward-looking? Ignorant of history, and just about everything else? Can't concentrate long enough to read? Don't come into contact with anyone outside their bubble?

Lots of reasons.

If white people are as bad as we are told we are, now would be a good time to reintroduce the White Australia policy so that non-whites don't have to come here and put up with us.

There would also be an opportunity for self-denigrating whites to leave here to live in countries where the people are nicer, apparently.

Although I'm not particularly nationalistic, I'm not opposed to a truly inclusive day of celebration as Australia Day, for me 1st January is that day. 26th January is the day of the 'festering sore', its a sort of rub our noses in it day for Aboriginal people, a reminder of the atrocities of the colonial past. We can't change history, but we certainly can recognise it for what it was, a period of genocide of the first Australians, we should remember it for what it was, but not cerebrate it. Like the Nazi holocaust, it must be remembered always, but never glorified, as some will have it, the 26th January is in the same category.

I'm all for a celebration of a Multicultural Harmony Day, 21st March, where First Australians, New Australian, and Those Australians by birth can come together and really be proud of this country in a truly inclusive way.
