Can I just say, Eric Bana has just started promoting his next movie "Romulus, My Father" which is released tomorrow. This is the first I Have heard about his movie and so far the reports have been favourable.
This is a perfect example of $$$ buying the media. We hear everything that is about themovie "Australia" butnothing for Eric Bana new flick until now.
I guess Botoxia not only is getting money for a set amount of money but maybe a percentage of the gross?
If they kept things more quiet maybe there would be more mystery about the whole project.

There is no way kidman would ever accept a percentage of movie gross... its basically one or the other. either take a certain fee up front or take a %. I cant recall any of her movies that grossed more than it cost to make. Otherwise she would not be paid for the flops shes in. Also i dont see how this Australia movie is going to do anything outside of Aus. Again, its another payday, but I dont expect it to take the rest of the world by storm. and up next, i forsee another flop in the waiting with The Invasion, which I've commented on before, and from what i hear of this dark compass? film...its a lord of the rings/chronicles of narnia wannabe, so either way, I dont see it doing anything for her faltering career, she'll just be another shadow in the tidel wave of special effects.

I thought you guys might like to hear about KU being denied entry to the set of the film Australia yesterday. The security guard wouldn't let him in and when he persisted, she told him to 'go away and get a life'. She didn't know she was talking to Mr. Kidman. I guess she must be so busy guarding movie sets that she doesn't have time to read magazines and newspapers so she can recognise the actual 'stars'.

Morgan, well it sounds to me this guard did actually know who urban was, hence the "get a life" quote... perhaps she was trying to give him some sound advice? Urban would be wise to take it and STAY AWAY! Or wait, could this be the first signs of discontent from botoxic? Perhaps she made it known on set to keep urban out, perhaps she wasn't ready for another photo op and had urban cooling it outside of the "target" area? With this calculated marriage, all the different scenarios may be quite plausible.

Oh and by the way, I was reminded by someone the other day that the 'leak' outside of any leaks originating from the crew and cast of Moulin Rouge about Botaxia's affair with the runner to whom she became pregnant/which was the cause for TC finishing the marriage, was actually her sister's husband, Angus. At the time, he and his wife Antonia were going through a bumpy period and he has never really got on with his sister-in-law, the Botaxia Barbie Doll, so family loyalties went right out the window with a few drinks. This is how the majority of film people not involved with Moulin Rouge found out. Angus was 'the mouth'. The person who reminded me of this said that she wondered if he may speak about it again, now that they have split, if things don't remain hunky dory with the family. Interesting point upon which to ponder.

I hope Angus does talk, that would be quite interesting. This keeping up appearances scenario really pisses me off. It is probably why I don't particularly like NK.
