Well actually for me, Morgan, she going back to aussie soaps would be the perfect solution. being from the states, I would not stumble onto any of her mediocre acting attempts. I also meant to comment on your Kylie post, I dont know too much about kylie, the only thing that strikes me is how much she resembles kidman.... the same thin malnourished body, with the usual grotesque facial impressions of too much plastic surgery.
Kidmans problem is they have elevated her to lead actress status, when she is so plainly a supporting actress. Although it would seem she would prefer to be a character actress, but not having any true character in real life to draw on, those attempts just end up looking ridiculous, and so she ends up with Fur and Birth. And when she tries to do lead, she ends up with Stepford and Bewitched, which she's not strong enough to lead to any profit or success.

It would appear that the movie 'Fur' grossed worldwide $926590 and was only released for a limited time and reached 39 theatres. How does this work ? Not sure on these arty films? Can anyone help me here?

Nomad 48au...I checked out the samples for Tussauds...made a few enquiries...apparently they were rejected because they were too 'animated'....not in keeping with the life model. Apparently Tussauds are waiting on another shipload of pink celluloid to provide a more authentic representation.

YIKES! I'd swear that top row, center pic IS the wax figure... and that last pic, last row looks like she's having a bad reaction to the botox, but I wouldnt be shocked if it actually was from formaldihyde. Wow, Wakings, I was only quoting the US gross of 200 grand, but that worldwide number is pretty weak. But I do notice a trend with her and her movies though, I seem to remember Miramax hit hard times, and the wiensteins lost their studio, funny enough after kidman made two movies for them in that previous year.., that was the Human Stain and Cold mountain, a bomb and a disapointment at best...and Lansing at Paramount was canned as president after the summer Bewitched stunk it up. So it seems not just directors who work with her end up tarnished for the effort, but studios seem to fumble as well . And as for the actors? Notice how well jude law is doing lately! or how about that kid who was in Birth, once very promising, having just worked with Deniro, I think i barely noticed him in a very small bit in Xmen 3. Will they ever learn?

...just watched Tim Mcgraw on a talk show this morning and I just wanted to add to my previous post about how actors/directors/studios are damaged by working on a kidman failed movie... Remember Faith Daniels, country singer, married to McGraw, a few years ago she was white hot, but she wanted to get into movies. Well I remember reading that she was desperate to get a role in the upcoming movie Stepford Wives, and she fought hard to get into that movie, Well the movie came out and flopped big time, and I really havent heard too much from her since... sad...
