Well morgan, you would have to look at the mindset of anyone with those tendacies. On the one hand, it could just be that they are so emotionally handicapped, that they feel more comfortable with children. To them adults are more demanding, have expectations, expect responsibliity, etc...or more in kidmans case, it could just be that she 's so preoccupied with getting older, just like older men dump their older wives, and remarry younger women, she believes making these movies will give a more youthful image? Well, personally, i believe she took this movie, about the older womens affair with the younger boy, simply because she'll be playing a Nazi. Cruise is now filming a movie as a Nazi, so... weeks before it was officially announced she was making this movie, there was an internet story about how she and cruise would both be in Berlin filming at the same time, this month, september I think, with tongues wagging at maybe a possible "meeting? I hadnt even heard or seen any info online that she was even considered for this movie, The Reader. I even checked at wikipedia, and it only said that some other actress was considered for it, no mention of kidman. So when it was confirmed she had signed onto this movie, I thought, aha, was that another patented Kidman leak to the gossip sites? She signed on to the flop Invasion remake when cruise was PR-ing his war of the worlds remake. Is there anything she says or does anymore that does not seem to involve cruise? thats what I want to know.

No consideration what so ever is given for their feelings, just the fact that this very narcisstic (actress) sorry typo hollywood star has movies coming out in the next few months.

Those are very good points, wakings. That really is what has annoyed me about her for at least 4 yrs now. Is there anything in this issue, or for the past 6 yrs for that matter, that she recalls fondly? Everything seems to be about regret, loss, sadness. Even Urban has been nothing but "painful" to her. Even getting the Oscar is not joyful for her, all she recalls is the loneliness in the cold desolate hotel alone, although, as Morgan has pointed out here, wasnt her mother and daughter sitting with her at the awards? Did they immediately jump on airplanes to go home immediately after the awards were over? She even seems to change the facts of the events to be a bummer. Well i just read that shooting in Australia ended this past week, it will be interesting to see if she takes a little time for her family or urban, or will she just jump right into her next movie... I'd bet on the latter.

Can I just say in the national gossip rag Womans Day NK is proclaiming that she has lost her children to Scientology. The children have decided to spend time in Portland at a scientology camp than fly over to see their mother.

Surprise surprise - would even hurt her to actually goto her own children then have them fly to Auatralia and see her?

She talks about children a lot but isn't interested in mothering them.
