Why the two-state solution is the only viable option to the exclusion of any other : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 12/1/2024

Although the two-state solution has been all along the only viable option the Israel-Hamas war has only reaffirmed that there is no other option.

Very fair-minded analysis, impartial and curate. Analysis which I absolutely agree with!

If only someone like you were the PM of Israel, most of the bloodshed could have been avoided.

In conclusion can I say, hear, hear and well said Sir!

Every man and his dog can have 'answers' and tell other people what they should be doing - but they cannot and do not have to do anything themselves. All mouth and trousers, but no responsibility or ability to solve the problems that they think other people should be solving.

This bloke's pontificating has not, will not, make any difference to anyone or anything. He has been blathering on for years. The Israeli government, whose job it is to sort it out clearly haven't done what this know-all says should be done. It is likely that they have never heard of him.

The stuff that gets spread about by 'experts' in this part of OLO is just opion, as it is on the forum. Totally worthless for anything but the individual 'having a say'.

SUPPORTING ISRAELS 'RIGHT TO EXIST' IS EQUAL TO SUPPORTING APARTEID< OPPRESSION AND LAND THEFT.

I support the One state solution, but not the one you detailed.

One state - PALESTINE

Israel has voided any right to have it's own country, the Zionist Project has been a complete failure with 75 years worth of crimes against humanity as evidence.

Israels current leaders should be imprisoned for the remainder of their natural lives.
- And that would be a blessing compared to what they've done to other;
There's also a valid argument that deranged hate-filled Israelis need to be rounded up and placed in re-education camps.

Yes, sounds like I'm skating on this ice, but really this is where we are at.
Go look at how they act and tell me I'm wrong.

This is not just a genocidal leadership, for the most part it's a entire genocidal nation and people.

I'm not supporting apartheid, oppression and land theft.
- Come back to me when you decide to do something different.

Going forward, Israel needs to prove to me that it can change it's ways before I ever support it's existence.

Till then, I hope Israel gets exactly what it deserves.
I don't care if Hezbollah flattens the entire country.
That's what Israel sought to do to others, so what's the big deal?

ISRAEL SEEKS TO MURDER ALL THE PEOPLE IN ITS CONCENTRATION CAMPS

And also I support Iran having nuclear weapons.
If Israel can have nuclear weapons and threaten it's neighbors and commit assassinations on foreign soil, they why shouldn't they?

Israel has no right to defense on stolen land and under occupation.

Lets say I'm armed and I invade your home, pointing the gun at you and your wifes head, I start helping myself to stuff in your fridge, smacking your kids around, wrecking up your house...

Lets say that you tell me to leave, and I refuse.

Then let's say you manage to get your hands on a kitchen knife, and you wait for the right moment to attack me.

When you attack me with the knife, unfortunately for you I see it coming, and I pull my weapon and shoot you, two in the chest.

Now you're laying there on the floor dying, it's all over for you.
The question is 'Can I claim the right of defending myself?'

No, I illegally came on your land, to your home, I threatened you and your family, you told me to leave, I stayed and you ended up dead.

ITS MURDER

Every. Single. One.

Thank you Alon for your articles on this issue. I agree the two-state solution appears the only one that will result in lasting peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians in the longer term.

The path there, though, seems incredibly difficult. Hamas does not want a two-state solution, it wants an Islamic Caliphate “from the river to the sea”, with Israel destroyed and its Jewish population murdered or expelled. While it is difficult to gauge popular opinion in an Islamo-fascist autocracy, there is evidence that many – perhaps most – Gazans agree. Netanyahu has been a disaster for Israelis and Palestinians, but he has no desire for a two-state solution and considerable political interest in preventing one. Meanwhile, Iran is happily stirring the pot across the Middle East to further its own vile agenda.

There are glimmers of hope, though. I have been impressed with Antony Blinken’s efforts to thread the needle between supporting Israel’s right to defend itself and trying to focus on what is needed for enduring peace when the war ends – effectively, a two-state solution – while minimising as far as possible the appalling suffering of Gazan civilians.

A two-state arrangement is necessary to secure lasting peace, but it may not be sufficient. Even before the war Gaza was a miserable, oppressed and impoverished place, and much housing and civilian infrastructure has been destroyed in the past three months. There will need to be some equivalent of the Marshall Plan that rebuilt Germany after WW2 that gives Palestinians a real and better alternative to the murderous agendas of Hamas, Hezbollah et al. This is not to concede that Hamas’s vile atrocities on 7 October were justified or understandable, but rather to recognise that Israel will not attain peace and security for its own citizens unless and until Palestinians get the same.

From the time the Arabs invaded and took over the land under discussion
the land became Islamic land forever. Well that is how they see it.
No matter who comes along and takes it back or seizes it by force it
remains Islamic land.
The ownership cannot be changed by treaty or sale.
Once it becomes Islamic land it is Islamic land forever.

That is why a two state or similar solution is impossible.
All land everywhere once occupied by moslems can only be sold to moslems.
I wonder if that applies in Australia ? Does that explain why some
suburbs become solidly Moslem Arabic ?

I usually agree almost totally with Alon Ben-Meir, but sadly not this time.

"and meets the Palestinians' national aspiration for statehood"

What aspiration is Alon talking about? I wish they did, but they never ever wanted statehood!

"and resulted in the death of nearly 23,000 Palestinians at the time of writing, 70 percent of whom are women and children."

This is what Hamas claims - but why should the author believe it?

"And there is the inconceivably sick option wherein extremists on both sides-messianic Israeli Jews and Palestinian jihadis-seek to expel or even liquidate the other from any territory they currently occupy, which deserves no elaboration but only the strongest condemnation for even thinking of such an option, which is akin to ethnic cleansing and absolute sheer madness."

CONDEMN ME THEN - it could be great to stand by and see them mutually annihilating each other!

And once gone, the normal people of the region will be able to live in peace ever after!

The article seeks a solution for the wrong problem - the problem in the Middle-East is that no "normal" person can live with these extremists.

Even if all "Palestinians" were gone, Israel itself is not a viable state because normal liberal people and Messianic Jews cannot live together. I believe the same to be on the Arab side.

What to do then?

Israel should leave all its 1967-occupied territories unilaterally, build a strong wall along its border (i.e. the Green Line), then stop worrying about whatever happens on the other side of its border between the Jewish/Islamic extremists that are left there.

---

I do however agree with some statements of other commentators, such as:

«Israels current leaders should be imprisoned for the remainder of their natural lives»

AND

«Hamas does not want a two-state solution, it wants an Islamic Caliphate “from the river to the sea”, with Israel destroyed and its Jewish population murdered or expelled.»

---

I disbelieve it when AC claims:
«I don't care if Hezbollah flattens the entire country.»

- Of course he does care, he wants that to happen very much!

Hi Yuyutsu,
If Israels ancient biblical stand towards issues is 'an eye for an eye'
Then why is the concept of karma wrong in this instance?

- do bad to others (wish to wipe the Palestinians out) and that bad should happen to you, right?

- Let them have 'an eye for an eye' if that's what they want.
Let the Muslims hoards descend upon them, wipe them out and say,
'God took it from them and gave it to us'

Truthfully I support negotiations over conflict, and you know I do.
Because with conflict innocent people pay the price.
If negotiations and compromise were possible, none of these wars would happen.
I don't think Israel has negotiated anything in good faith since Netanyahu was elected.
And it was one of his right-wing settler lunatics that assassinated Yitzhak Rabin, the only politician who really tried to change things in recent times.

If supporting Israel means supporting apartheid, oppression, land theft and genocide - then why on earth would you expect me to support this nation and those things?
Why would you make me feel bad for opposing those things?

My ideological position does not mean that I wish harm to your family in Israel.
I'd much prefer that NO innocent Israeli or Palestinian are harmed.

Removing Netanyahu, isn't going to change things when both the left and right support the ongoing settlement building / ethnic cleansing, they just disagree on how to go about it.

- That's a terrorist state.
I'm sorry, it's not personal.

I'm drawing a harder line in my first offer, one that shocks and tells some hard truths, you always make an unreasonable first offer and negotiate it back to one that is acceptable.

Begging for a 2 state solution won't change anything.
Hoping for change won't make it happen.

No-one on this planet had done anything to change the situation except Hamas, I don't like the situation, but that's what it is.

When Israel shows that its capable of living in peace with it's neighbors and can treat them with respect and dignity, then I might roll back my hard line to one that's an acceptable compromise to both sides.

i.e 2 state solution.
But right now as things stand Israel's spent 75 years as a terrorist state.
Things need to change, no more 'mowing the grass'.

I said it ages ago, I don't need to know what the solutions are to know that whats going on now isn't working.

Until then it's not about religions, it's about humanity.
It's about a people having their own state, and their own dignity.

I don't care about being called an Anti-Semite.
Israel is accused of genocide 25,000 dead people mostly women and kids and just as many more under the rubble and faces binding judgement of the ICJ.
Calling someone an Anti-Semite with this hanging over Israels head is just plain ridiculous.
I've seen footage of countless innocent people shot dead for no reason at all.
And what about the 112+ journalists Israel deliberately killed to try and cover up their crimes?
You already know all my arguments and criticisms against Israel, so what do I even have to hide?

Dear Critic,

Sorry I have no time to respond, I will later, but for now just one point:

«when both the left and right support the ongoing settlement building / ethnic cleansing,»

That is absolutely not true.
Unlike whatever it means in other countries, "Left" in Israel means those who wish to get out of the cursed territories taken by Israel in 1967 - and that is about half the population of Israel, including the Israeli author of this article.

Many other pieces of information you provided, now and over the last days, are plainly false, plainly no so. There are just so many of those that I no longer have time or energy to refute them.

The past is a foreign country nobody can actually return to.

So, as I see it there ae just two solutions, one so terrible that I refuse to believe that it has to be the final solution.

In one of many scenarios, the pentagon has one scenario that nukes the middle east with high altitude neutron bombs that hit the place with a huge burst radiation that kills all organic life, even in deep bunkers, creating a sea of glass, while leaving the infrastructure intact and undamaged.

Given that nature of the radiation it is safe to re-enter the are in about six months claiming all the spoils, oil, gas etc. The other solution and the only one, is a negotiated two state settlement.

Those with the power to negotiate, need to be locked in a room until they have a compromise all can live with. They need to be acquainted with the very real possibility of the above scenario if they fail to agree.

Failing an agreed solution, it is only a question of time before the protagonists plunge the area into a full-blown nuclear war. A war which will have far worse consequences than Hiroshima!

Better the M.E. pay the price than the whole world be plunged into WW 3!

Finally, let me say, I agree with Rhian and her rare commonsense post.

Others who see only violent eye for an eye, solutions are part of the problem and endless bloodshed! ttbn likes to prattle on about SFA as usual, while condemning other for making positive suggestions to the debate.

I'm reliably informed that this E-journal could be read in the white house, number 10 downing street and on the hill in Canberra to name but a few, to gauge public opinion.

So, it may not be a complete waste of time as moribund negative nay sayers like ttbn and co claim.

You can try your bully boy tactics, but I've never caved into bullies and never will. Nor will you shut me up!

Moreover, your opinion will count for nothing in the aforementioned halls of power, where you are likely to be seen a harmless joke and or quickly confined to the rubbish bin unread.

You never ever contribute anything positive or worth the time to read! GFY.

Dear Critic,

«If Israels ancient biblical stand towards issues is 'an eye for an eye'»

Israel does not follow the Bible, nor even Judaism.
The only ones who presumably follow that "eye for an eye" literally are the tiny sect of Karaites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaite_Judaism

«Then why is the concept of karma wrong in this instance?»

Karma only works individually and over many lifetimes.
It is nonsensical to expect anyone to receive all the fruits of their actions in the same birth.

It is not impossible, for example, that some peace-loving Israeli was kidnapped and tortured by Hamas because they were a German Nazi in their previous birth, yet it is more likely for former German Nazis to be reborn and suffer in Gaza.

«do bad to others (wish to wipe the Palestinians out) and that bad should happen to you, right?»

Free them from the tyranny of Hamas and good things should happen to you!

«Let the Muslims hoards descend upon them, wipe them out and say,
'God took it from them and gave it to us'»

I wonder whether these hoards can similarly accept it stoically as God's will if instead they wake up in hospital with missing limbs.

«Truthfully I support negotiations over conflict, and you know I do.»

Not with that many untruths on your record.

And anyway, why have negotiations when the Arab/Muslim side is never going to keep its promises?

When dealing with honourless enemies, there is no possibility of "negotiations over conflict", only of "conflict with negotiations" or "conflict without negotiations".

«Because with conflict innocent people pay the price.»

As you just said, karma cannot be wrong: no innocent person can ever suffer for something they have not done.

«If negotiations and compromise were possible»

Compromise OK, but no point negotiating with honurless people.

«And it was one of his right-wing settler lunatics that assassinated Yitzhak Rabin, the only politician who really tried to change things in recent times.»

Ehud Barak - offered the West Bank to the "Palestinians" (who refused).
Ehud Ulmert - as above plus compromised on Jerusalem (again, offer rejected)
Ariel Sharon - dismantled all Israeli settlements in Gaza and parts of the West Bank and ordered Israeli troops to leave the place.

«If supporting Israel means supporting apartheid, oppression, land theft and genocide»

Nonsense, it doesn't mean so - I support Israel but not the other things you mentioned.

«Why would you make me feel bad for opposing those things?»

Not for that - for your multiple libel claims against Zionism and Israel.

«No-one on this planet had done anything to change the situation except Hamas»

What about Putin?
Both changed the situation greatly - both made millions miserable.

«i.e 2 state solution.»

How can one force having a state on people who don't want to have one?

«It's about a people having their own state, and their own dignity.»

They were offered their own state, they practically even had it - but they didn't want it.
And what do you mean by "dignity"? Can people who rape corpses have that quality?

«You already know all my arguments and criticisms against Israel, so what do I even have to hide?»

The truth.

I already refuted so many of your arguments and criticisms, yet you keep repeating them word for word.

You know what?
I am tired.
And I do have a life outside this forum.
You won this war of attrition!

You won't hear it in the MSM, but back in November, it was reported by Israeli spokesman Lt.Col. Jonathan Conricus that 11 of 12 Hamas 'battalions' had been put out of action.

And, a final word to the sadsack on Downing Street and The Whitehouse reading "this E-Journal"; even if they do, does he really think that anyone of significance would be interested in the wild opinions of of anonymous, amateur windbags like him. And, how about Canberra? Are they hanging on to every word he says as well?

Perhaps they think what he comes up with is "vomit", as he, quite unprovoked, accused me of posting.

Dear Ttbn,

«11 of 12 Hamas 'battalions' had been put out of action.»

These are only of the northern-Gaza and Gaza-city brigades.
Altogether, Hamas had 24 battalions (plus air-force, navy and other special units).

By now all 12 are out of action and no organised Hamas forces are left in northern Gaza and Gaza city, but still sporadic militants emerge from time to time out of tunnels to ambush IDF soldiers.

maniac?

These kinds of words are reserved for people that assassinate innocent women and kids for no reason at all, people that would deliberately withhold medicine while kids have to endure amputations without anesthetic, and people that would steal organs for resale from the Palestinians it murders.

(Israel also needs things like food, water and medicine to have any leverage over the Palestinians to use them as informants for intelligence gathering)

You can support that and call others names when they disagree
I can't control what you do, but I can stand against things that are wrong, and not let people like yourselves get a free pass to condone things that should never be condoned.

I'm the maniac because I support diplomacy, negotiations, and compromise over conflict.
And you are a great moral and upstanding citizen ttbn, because you support murdering women and kids.

Israel has found itself in a big pile of crap of it's own making.
And somehow this is my fault?

I see all these murderous arrogant Israelis,
I'd like to see the smiles slapped off their faces.
Israel will forever be stained with 'genocidal intent'
- Reap what you sow, stupid terrorist nation.

>>11 of 12 Hamas 'battalions'<<
That last battalion must be doing a good job. Lol
I'm calling bs, the Israeli military are useless without US planes and munitions.

Palestinian non-combatants might be fish in a barrel for Israeli bombs and missiles
But the IDF ground troops in Gaza are fish in a barrel for Hamas

I said on October 7 that Hamas were trying to lure IDF in there to fight them face to face, instead of with bombs and remote controlled machine guns.
The Israeli military is getting smashed and many Israelis are leaving for more safer countries.

Good Job Israel.
You sent your own people to die and your government to the ICJ.
October 7 was a response to your own oppression, and the incompetence of military leaders who send more poorly trained reservists to die.
How bloody stupid can you be?

Yuyutsu,

Thanks for that. I was advised that the site wasn't “safe”. But I have noticed that little message quite a few times on sites that certain people or entities don't approve of because it doesn't suit their politics. It just makes me more determined to look.

AC

It's one easily understood word, not “these kinds of words”; and, it is my belief that maniacal is a good description of your worsening behaviour and comments about Israeli and Israelis, while you are completely uncaring about the horrible things done by Hamas - plus some ordinary Gazans - to Israel citizens; the vile actions that caused the Israeli response to your terrorist friends.

It is not up to Israel to succour its enemy in any way; just as in WW2, Germany and the British weren't responsible for the collateral damage they both caused to each other's civilians during mutual bombing raids. You clearly have no idea what war is.

You are not standing “against things that are wrong, (nor letting) “people like yourselves get a free pass …”. You are doing nothing but mouthing off and showing yourself up as a bigoted ignoramus. You have no more control over me or anyone else than we have over your ravings. You are not going to crush others with your hate.

You “support” diplomacy and other things that your terrorists DO NOT. They just want to kill Jews. Your “support” is worth nothing.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion - even when they are not personally involved, as none of us here are. But your maniacal behaviour and hatred on this subject takes the prize as the most horrible ever seen on OLO since its inception.

Dear Ttbn,

I suppose the IDF website is one that many hackers would prize, especially Iranians.

If they succeed in hacking DNS servers, that could cause innocent users to reach their own website instead. However, HTTPS certificates can usually prevent it, which is probably what you experienced when your browser protected you.

The IDF website itself is heavily protected and cannot be reached directly via an IP address (to bypass all DNS servers), but you can still protect yourself from DNS hacking by adding the following line to your "etc/hosts" file:

45.60.110.27 www.idf.il

On Linux the file is "/etc/hosts".
On Windows it is "c:\\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts" (it can be opened with Notepad).

Hi ttbn,
"...while you are completely uncaring about the horrible things done by Hamas - plus some ordinary Gazans - to Israel citizens; the vile actions that caused the Israeli response to your terrorist friends."

Israel had my sympathy on October 7
(Go check my comment history if you want proof of it)
After that any sympathy I had slowly diminished and it was the innocent Palestinians who gained my sympathy.
I told you all my attitude would change if they kept leveling buildings full of people.
Over in the other forums, you've spoken now and again about your support of Christianity in the country right?
What does the bible say about vengeance?
Either you want people to support these 'Christian ideals' you speak so highly of or you don't.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.

'Vile actions'
- That would depend on what story you've been told.
If it's the 'Palestine broke down the fence so it could go on a rampage killing innocents', then you're the one who has been sold a lie.

If you want a slightly better understanding of what happened, watch this for 10 minutes or so, it's not a perfectly detailed account of the events, but it's a hell of a lot closer to the truth than the one you base your opinions on.

IDF are just stupid kids in combat kits, Hamas will kill them all in modern warfare
http://youtu.be/Msaqyku5MwQ

As for all the vile actions I've seen from Israel in the last 3 months, I honestly wouldn't know where to begin.

"It is not up to Israel to succour its enemy in any way; just as in WW2, Germany and the British weren't responsible for the collateral damage they both caused to each other's civilians during mutual bombing raids. You clearly have no idea what war is."

'enemy' is not the correct word.
There's a certain standard of conduct which applies to occupiers and the occupied under international law.
You can't deprive them of food or water or medicine.
This is collective punishment and a war crime

This isn't 'collateral damage' it's a policy.
Israel is deliberately targeting civilians and people talking about 'human shields' are helping them, it legitimises it.
Israel can bomb anything and say "Dammit, Hamas are using human shields again!"
Hamas prepared for this war, they are down underground in the tunnels.
What's happening is vengeance, for Israels humiliation and helping to convey a message, that Israel will exact extreme retribution if they Palestinians dare to resist, all the while Israel steals land.
Deliberately targeting civilians is a war crime.

"You 'support' diplomacy and other things that your terrorists DO NOT. They just want to kill Jews. Your 'support' is worth nothing."

- This is the saddest part of all, the propaganda. 'We're good, they're bad'
In the last 3 months I've probably seen evidence of EVERY DAMN THING that the Palestinians have been accused of, Israel is doing to them.
Whether that be radicalisation of kids, to the attitudes of regular Israeli's themselves, right up to the pro-genocide attitudes within the military and the government, and atrocities committed.
The fish rots from the head, and you know why?
All the horrible hateful 'traits' and 'beliefs' the Palestinians are accused of having:
- I've honestly seen demonstrated within the hearts and minds of the Israelis / Jews themselves.

"Everyone is entitled to an opinion - even when they are not personally involved, as none of us here are. But your maniacal behaviour and hatred on this subject takes the prize as the most horrible ever seen on OLO since its inception."

- We'll, I'll try and tone it down a bit, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.
And there's plenty of other people who think this whole thing is wrong too.

A few posts back AC said that religion was not the cause of the
problem.
I just cannot see that, it was there 1400 years ago and hatred of
the Jews was built into Islam right at the start.
When they got around to writing the Koran 100 years later they codified it all.
Until and if Islam collapses and the Koran just becomes an ancient
text that only some scholars read, we are stuck with it.
I once thought that the rest of the world should build a real and an
electronic wall around the Middle East, & let no one in or out.
Not really practical I think but thought it might force a settlement.

Frankly, after 1400 years it has got boring !

Here we go again; now the Houthis have got in the act and taken up
piracy again.
To put in the context, the Arab Slave Trade is still run by Arabs in
the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
So it was natural that the Houthis would take their actions to sea.
Actions against ships of countries that your country is not at war with
is piracy and has been illegal from a date I do not know but certainly
from before 1900.
As they have attacked and indeed seized ships of flags that are not
involved in the war that I presume means they have made themselves
open to attack by other maritime nations.
From memory those rules came about because of Arabian pirates involved
in the Slave Trade. They would take the cargo and some of the crew
and passengers.
The Barbay Pirates from North Africa attacked Roman ships way back
then and into the 18th Century when the new USA sent its new navy
over to North Africa went to Morocco and told the Emir "It stops Now" !
I think it did stop, must read that up.
The US Marines hymn From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli.
Celebrates that action in Nth Africa.
History echos !

What if the Israelis were the Chinese, and the Palestinians were the Ugyhur Muslims?

If the story was Ugyhur Muslims rising up against Chinese Communist 'aggression'
'Crimes against humanity'; the whole narrative, in Gaza it's real.
- Let's face it, the West wouldn't just be supporting it, it would be funding and conducting it.

And we'd all be talking about 'those BRAVE PERSECUTED Muslims'
- That's what the news would be telling us.

Imagine if all we've seen in Gaza in the last 3 months was the Chinese attacking the Ughurs in Xinhau instead?.
What if the Chinese had deliberately targeted 120 journalists and there was footage of innocent women and kids deliberately executed.

The collective West would be losing it's collective mind.
They'd all be supporting a charge of genocide.
Somehow or other a lot of people have been programmed to think that when Israel does it, it's somehow acceptable.
People with Christian roots that have some kind of 'loyalty to Israel or God' built into their DNA

Why should I support the existence of a state engaged in apartheid, ethnic cleansing and land theft?

Did Hitler and the NAZI's have a 'Right to Exist'?

Snap out of your programming, give me a reason why.

Everything we're told that makes a nation a 'bad actor' we see in Israel.

Bezza, I'm not sure I said religion wasn't a factor, it certainly is on both sides, but I think that if neither side were religious, Palestinians would still have a legitimate reason to fight against oppression and occupation.

Dear Critic,

«Somehow or other a lot of people have been programmed to think that when Israel does it, it's somehow acceptable.»

Obviously not: had Israel been doing so (genocide, etc.) then that would not be acceptable.

«People with Christian roots that have some kind of 'loyalty to Israel or God' built into their DNA»

Blind loyalty to Israel, that is - what has God to do with it and what do they even know about God?

Well yes, and their suffocating "love" harms Israel perhaps even more than the "Palestinian" hate!

«Why should I support the existence of a state engaged in apartheid, ethnic cleansing and land theft?»

That state will exist whether you support it or not, but if you like, you can help changing such policies by supporting the opposition to its government.

«'Everything that the Palestinians are accused of Israel is doing, and more...»

Simply untrue.

I am tired of listing and refuting your false accusations.

«If you don't want Palestinians here, support the 'Right of Return'.»

And you really believe that because you happen to support such 'Right', my family will just let them live in their lounge, or bedroom, or kitchen, or bathroom or take a child's room?

None of their grand-grand-grand-parents' villages and homes still stand. Over them were long ago built freeways, hospitals, railways, industrial complexes and more, yes new residential buildings and green nature reserves too.

I rather have them in Australia:
When the Chinese come, they will make good fighters!

Hi Yuyutsu,
There's a lot of things to go through in your comments, I did also read your earlier ones as well.
I think I'm starting to get Ukraine and Palestine war commentary fatigue, and I suspect everyone else is probably also sick and tired of hearing me go on about things.

I've decided that I will not entertain Israel's 'Right to exist' until they officially state their borders.
I'm not going to support apartheid, ethnic cleansing, genocide and land theft.
(And I could certainly make that list a lot longer from what I've seen and learned since Oct 7)

Slowly taking more and more land when Israel thinks the world isn't watching, making a 2 state solution impossible, a nation of hateful arrogant people that think they're so smart making other human beings die of thirst and hunger.
Always having some bs excuse for the horrible things it does.
Bombing hospitals, mosques and churches, emergency service workers, journalists, refugee camps, apartment buildings full of people.
whole families, women and kids.

assassinations, executions, torture.
'destroy them like amalek'.

Kids deliberetely murdered by the IDF.
Close up photos of 8 and 9 year old kids with their BRAINS BLOWN OUT.
IDF laughing and joking taking selfies in destroyed Palestinian loungerooms.

I've seen a whole lot more atrocities Israel has done in these last 3 months than anything I've seen the Palestinians do, by magnitudes.

I've honestly seen more horrible things that Israel has done in these last 3 months than I've seen from anyone or any people in my whole life.

The average person probably doesn't take the time to look as I do.

What sort of a living nightmare did you bring on these people by 'returning to your biblical homeland'

Your whole nation is SICK.

Hi Bezza,
"Here we go again; now the Houthis have got in the act and taken up piracy again."

C'mon mate, why pick on the Houthis? the Americans are pirates too.
When America does it, they call it 'civil forfeiture', which is a really fancy word for 'STEALING'.

http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-announces-first-criminal-resolution-involving-illicit-sale-and-transport
'The Government Also Seized Almost One Million Barrels of Iranian Crude Oil'

"The contraband cargo is now the subject of a civil forfeiture action in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The United States’ forfeiture complaint alleges that the oil aboard the vessel is subject to forfeiture based on U.S. terrorism and money laundering statutes."

They are dishonest. So, the US seized Iran's oil FIRST, then Iran retaliated. US plays victim now.

Armchair Critic,

You are a sick man and need to get psychological treatment.

You suffer from an extreme form of confirmation bias. which normal people don't have. It could be the onset of dementia.

I felt sorry for you... your world must be a very grim, one dimensional place. But then I thought of those living in your orbit.
Do seek treatment.

Dear Critic,

«Your whole nation is SICK.»

Australia?

«What sort of a living nightmare did you bring on these people by 'returning to your biblical homeland'»

MY Biblical homeland?

I already mentioned here not once that most of the Bible is a forgery, fabricated as part of a rivalry between two clans of Judean priests, also that unlike what the Bible describes, the Judeans lived in only a small part of Israel and were hardly ever independent of the surrounding empires.

That my family lives in Israel has nothing to do with the Bible: in fact it was they who pointed me to the modern research, in Israel, which proves the Bible a forgery.

However, my family was attacked and continues to be under threat, so they do whatever it takes to defend themselves and not become hostages in Gaza. Too tragic they cannot reach their attackers other than through a thick screen of civilians which the enemy deliberately interposes between them and itself, including in hospitals, mosques, churches, ambulances, homes, etc.

During this war, over 50,000 ordinary Gazans (as well as some Hamas fighters who had enough), phoned the IDF hotline to report Hamas positions and plead Israel to finish them off.

«I've honestly seen more horrible things that Israel has done in these last 3 months than I've seen from anyone or any people in my whole life.»

You couldn't have seen anything unless you were there in person.
Many of the Gazans, including women and children, are killed and starved by Hamas itself.

Anyway, I also get tired of constantly having to refute your repeated false allegations against Israel. It is also getting late, so I bid you good night.

Hi Whitemouse,
"You are a sick man and need to get psychological treatment."
- Why because I don't support the murder of women and kids?

Israel IS a sick nation.
It's a direct consequence of the occupation which has corrupted the soul of its people.

The occupation corrupts because Israelis have to people they're occupying as sub-human.
They can't treat them as equals because they would have to give them a vote, and given that there are as many Palestinians as there are Israelis this would be a problem for them, also the Palestinians have higher birth rates.

So, they have to treat them like sub-humans, the result is an apartheid state and a nation consumed with hate.

Israeli Kids Talk About Killing Arabs When They Grow Up

You can call me names, but I'm not the one murdering 136 kids on average every day.
How many innocent Palestinians have you fired upon?

Hi Yuyutsu,
Please accept my apology.
I meant to say 'your previous homeland'
I saw the mistake, but I'd already posted it, sorry.

What happened to your family?
I hope they are all ok, but I'm not sure vengeance is going to help the situation right now, I think its just going to make things worse and there will be continued escalation by Israel and the 'axis of resistance', it may lead to a much larger war that cannot be easily stopped.

If I was in their shoes I'd be taking an extended holiday in Cypress, no offense.
(Though I wouldn't blame them for staying and defending their home)
- The potential exists for this mess to spiral completely out of control, too much rests on what the Netanyahu government does next.

If they go into Lebanon, it could get real ugly, real fast.

Dear Critic,

Thank you for keeping my family in your prayers, they are all OK,
not happy of course, their mood is very sombre, but luckily none of them got directly involved in the war.

They work harder than usual to keep the economy going, and like everyone else in Israel also volunteer, in their particular case to help with the elderly, to pick fruit (because many foreign agricultural workers left, were murdered or kidnapped) and as I already mentioned, cook meals for the soldiers in Gaza.

One family member nearly lost his job because the company he works in lost its contracts due to the war: most of his colleagues were fired but somehow he is among the few who remained employed.

Some have actually been on holiday, touring Japan, when the war started - they have no intention of going away again anytime soon.

The spirit of vengeance which prevailed straight after the attack on October 7th seems to be fading, but not the depression, fear and rage due to the hostages and the emerging horrific information from hell about the conditions in which they are held: everyone in Israel is saying, "It could have been me", and so do I.

The great news is the delivery of medicines to the hostages.
That makes me believe that there will be no further escalation.

The Israeli hostages in this war are the Alpha and Omega:
if they were to be released then I don't think that ordinary Israelis would have an appetite to continue the war, and the daily casualties that come with it.

Netanyahu claims that pressuring the Hamas with war is the only way to convince them to free hostages, that they do not understand any other language.
Hamas says that they will not even negotiate a release before Israel stops the war.
I would go along with whatever path leads to free the hostages, but whom to believe? Both are liars!

No matter how you grind it all up, the two state solution is a no goer.
For religious reasons the moslems cannot accept that solution.

Correct Bezza,

A two-state solution has been offered several times in the past. The first time, the Palestinians were offered 80% of the territory, but rejected it.

5 times in the past Palestine rejected offer to have its own state. africachinapresscenter.org
