Queensland isn't just a COVID-19 election : Comments

By Graham Young, published 27/10/2020

Annastacia Palaszczuk has support for her COVID stance, but is still struggling to do better than last election. Much worse and Queensland will have a minority government.

Judging by all the rightwing comments above (with the honourable exception of Alan B.) thank Christ I left Queensland.

In my Gatton-Ipswich stamping ground even local Labor were rightwing. Armed extreme rightists, with their unlicensed Rottie-Mastiff pig dogs, had police and dog catchers scared.

So, to use Queensland's collective noun, even spoken in richer parts of Brisbane, YOUSE enjoy it.

plantagenet,
That's odd, because you perfectly described the Labor Voters on Cape York ! Looks like our red-necks are different to yours.

That's 30,000 Canem Malum, not 3000.

You did well to get out of Gatton-Ipswich with your shirt plantagenet, the way all those Labor councilors out there were on the take, it's a wonder anyone in the district has a shirt to their name.

With councilors like them, & parliamentarians like Jackie Trad, the only recovery Labor pollies are likely to lead is their own, & bugger the people.

Deb Whatshername, an unknown quantity at best. My first state election in Queensland. Met the local member, a very nice lady, I voted last week. With the LNP you get a corrupt type like Joh Bjelke-Petersen, or a useless type like Campbell Newman, seems there is nothing in between. Not sure what type Whatshername is, but she was cosying up to property developers a couple of weeks ago, bad vibe there, and she did think getting a takeaway cappuccino coffee with an open boarder was more important than protecting Queenslanders wellbeing. Easy to see where Whatshername's priorities lie, with property developers and business owners. Where are the LNP costings for all their promises, and how many job cuts can Queenslanders expect.

Pauliar,

And with labor you get all the corruption of Trad with the incompetence of Anna.
