Witnesses were available in abundance, but that hasn't stopped the US reneging on its promise.

How can anyone not love this guy?
*Collective amnesia, as in not remembering the Nakba?
*130 years old Jewish-Arab conflict? So good to know it all started in 1885.
*International treachery and duplicity? Pots and kettles and black black black.
The practice of 'hasbara' as undertaken by the Israeli government is examined in some depth by Max Blumenthal in his astonishingly good expose of Israel in his latest book, Goliath. Read it and be shamed, David Singer.

Perhaps the USA should show the way by becoming democratic itself, not just in name?

Your chances of spending time in jail are bigger in the "democratic" USA than in any other country, including totalitarian China; and "peaceful" is the last attribute we can assign to that country who listens to all our phone conversations, as well as those of world leaders and competing businesses.

What's wrong then if instead of pretending (like Australia) to be democratic, the Palestinians take the example of Israel's non-democratic but peaceful neighbour, Jordan, having a good king that loves and cares for his people?

Didn't bother to read article, assume it is usual Zionist rant - just wanted to ask for some balance on OLO on this issue and for Singer to be limited to six articles a year.

The world is turning its back.
First the Boers, now the Zionists.
At long last.
