With Labor's TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT and the rising cost of living from Labor's inflation, Albozo should focus on reducing costs by keeping the cheap-to-run coal power stations going.

But as Pauliar pointed out Albozo is a lying scumbag politician. What is the useless prick doing to help with the Victorian floods? Not his job?

P.S. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbour, clearly the war came to America and not the other way around.

mhaze,

Hitler obtained power through the ballot box, and Mussolini become Prime Minister of a democratic government. Both quickly set about dismantling any semblance of democracy in the name of necessity, that's another john dory in itself.

"Hitler/Mussolini were also fellow travellers being socialists" Ha! Socialists in name only, extremists in reality. Say what you like but in the context of Australian politics the earlier mentioned unintelligent numbskulls are extreme, being on the outer fringe of social thinking with radical ideas and little support. Correction they have yours, SM and ttbn support, plus a couple of others on OLO, that's about half a dozen.

As for the others you mention, and claim they are "heroes" of mine, well they are not, but like Hitler and Mussolini they were products of their times and locations.

SR,

As you pointed out Albozo promised a $275 cut by 2025 based on cheap renewables. Considering that renewables are far from cheap it means that he lied from the start. There is a direct correlation between the amount of renewable energy and the price of electricity in a country.

The way labor is going the price will be double by 2025.

Dear mhaze,

Given our own gas is so expensive to buy back since we have handed it over to the multinationals - who so generously fund your side of politics - the Ukraine war and Europe being cut off from Russian supplies has dramatically inflated the cost of energy.

How is any of the Albo's fault?

What he has promised is as we move away from fossil fuels like coal and gas and move to cheaper renewals the prices will come down.

He has 3 more years to make that happen.

shadowminister,

Albo's trillion dollar debt? You really are a flog mate.

You claim: "There is a direct correlation between the amount of renewable energy and the price of electricity in a country."

No there isn't so why say it?

SR,

Electricity prices (adjusted for inflation) have been rising inexorably since 2005. Nothing to do with gas prices or wars here or there or any of the other excuses favoured by the elite.

Guess what - so called intermittent power generation (wind/solar) has also been rising inexorably since 2005. Gee, I wonder if there is a co-relation there?

But the global warming clericy keep assuring us there is nothing to see here and that more renewables means lower prices...sometime in the future - always sometime in the future.

SR quipped: "who so generously fund your side of politics". I did a count. This is now the 16th time I've advised that I voted ALP and have done since 2014 and therefore don't have 'a side'. Sheesh.

SR whined: "How is any of the Albo's fault?"

I didn't say it was. Already trying to find excuses? But he claimed to have the answer. That's on him.

SR wrote: "He has 3 more years to make that happen."

Yes, that's what I said. But he claimed the prices would fall by a significant amount and that's on him. He also didn't say that they'd rise by an enormous amount before they fell and that's on him.

The clear implication of his promise is that prices would be lower in 2025 as compared to when he got elected. But that'll never happen. But my guess is that come 2025 he'll be claiming that he really meant that they'd just start to fall in 2025. And since you regurgitate all their talking points, you'll be making the same claim
