Stupid voters get stupid governments. But only 32.6% of the fools preferenced Labor first. So, maybe thse system is more stupid than the voters.

Be that is it may, the power prices would still have gone up under the Liberals, whose policies were not much different from Labor’s. It was Morrison who rushed off to to Scotland to sign up to Net Zero. It was Morrison who blocked a big gas exploration off the east coast.

It's no good blaming 'those people who voted Labor' when the fault lies with those people who voted for both major parties.

Watching the speeches made at the CPAC conference showed that the Liberals have learned nothing from their defeat, bleating that people should go back to them, join the party, and all that passè rubbish.

The only delegate to make any sense at all was Mark Latham, who said that One Nation, Liberal Democrats and UAP should get together and give conservatism a real chance, and voters a real choice.

"The only delegate to make any sense at all was Mark Latham"; An extremist who is a sell out. One Nation, one nation for some, but given power what extremes would they impose on the "unclean", the "undesirable", Liberal Democrats, neither liberal or democratic, what would they have in store for the "unclean" and "undesirable", read their rantings and find out. The United Australia Party, what a misnomer, united in Clive Palmer, they like the other pair do find the "unclean" and "undesirable" unacceptable.

If these extremist were ever to obtain power you would see radical changes, and unless you are a white Anglo-Saxon male and willing to toe the line as ttbn is so willing to do, things may not be all that pleasant for nonconformists and despised minorities in this new One Australian Nation of Liberalism and Democracy....secret police, summery justice and detention centres would be the order of the day. Calling a spade a spade these extremist are nothing more than fascists with new names.

Projection in spades. Paul assumes that his enemies would do if they gained power is what those he's supported (the Marxists) would have done if they had gained power.

No evidence mind you. Just projection.

Many here have absolute loyalty to the monarchy.
- And whinge about climate change agendas.

It doesn't make sense.
King Charles abandons plans to attend Cop27 ‘following Liz Truss’s advice’
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/oct/01/king-charles-abandons-plans-to-attend-cop27-following-liz-trusss-advice

The royals you love are the ones forcing the agendas you oppose.
They've been going to Bilderberg for years and pushing all the agendas you oppose.

Likewise you're all for increasing military ties with the US, AUKUS and that...
- Lock us into a defense pact like NATO so our boys can hurry off to die?

Look whats going on in the world.
You want us to get caught up in efforts to destabilise the Taiwan strait and a war with China (Our biggest trading partner, and close neighbour, who would probably win in a war against the US in Taiwan) in the same manner in which the US has done with Ukraine at such an enormous cost to the citizens of Europe / Britain?

You know - the same country that the royals you love so much reside it?
It doesn't make sense.

I think some people need to stand back and have a good rethink.

mhaze, its not projection, history shows when extremists come to power, often on a promise of good will towards all, the outcome is somewhat different. Should we really believe that given control the likes of Hanson, Latham, Palmer etc would respect Australia's democracy. Did Hitler and Mussolini respect democracy when they assumed power, me thinks not. If the aforementioned failed to deliver and proved to be too moderate, then others more ruthless would step in and replace them.

Here we go, the usual pack of flogs beating up rubbish and whinging about crap they have gobbled down from Sky New.

Albo's and Labor's promise was pretty clear.

"On Friday I launched Powering Australia, Labor’s plan to create jobs, cut power bills and reduce emissions by boosting renewable energy. Our Powering Australia plan will create over 600,000 jobs, with five out of six of them in the regions. Labor’s plan will boost renewables to 82 per cent of the grid by 2030. Cheap, renewable power will mean household bills drop by an average of $275 by 2025. Powering Australia will reduce Australia’s emissions by 43 per cent by 2030 – which will become Australia’s target, keeping us on track for net zero by 2050.

That is right, by 2025.

In case our little bunch of rabid, puffed up terriers hadn't realised it is only 2022!

If only they had spent a fraction of the effort keeping the LNP to its promises like a federal ICAC.

Just put a sock in it you lot. You are sounding more and more pathetic every day.
