Evidence of atrocities of the Russian army come from many independent sources, for example satellite images and intercepted radio and phone conversations (by ham radio operators and German intelligence). The denial tends to come from Russia, and there is the claim that Russia is sponsoring much disinformation about the war on the internet.

You may be correct, but how do you determine what is true and what is false? For example, is the portrayal of civilian destruction by the Russian army credible, and how credible is it for a number of independent sources to coordinate such a conspiracy? It is challenging enough to coordinate the actions of a united group of people. The performance of the Russian invasion should demonstrate that to you.

Dear SteeleRedux,

The crimes committed by the Ukrainians should be condemned. If they lose their crimes possibly will be. If they manage to throw the Russians out their crimes won't be.

Some of the family of my late son-in-law supported the British during the Revolutionnary War. Supporters of the British were persecuted by George Washington, and those relatives of my late son-in-law fled to Canada. The different parts of his family have kept in touch, and my daughter and her family have had some delightful visits to Nova Scotia as guests of descendants of those who fled the wrath of George Washington. I doubt if you will see anything in any book about the crimes of George Washington.

Thanks to the non-stop arguments between two or three armchair experts here, the Russians are expected to withdraw from Ukraine at the end of this week, and make full reparations.

Of course they will - just as they did in the past with
all the countries they invaded. After all we have to
believe what they tell us and their own people.

I think that if there is one person who is more responsible for this mess than any other;
The one person who has more blood on their hands than any others;
- Then I suspect that person could quite possibly be Victoria Nuland.
