"Respected head of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Peter Jennings, called the Australian Greens’ ‘we love China’ defence policy ‘insane’. No further comment needed." (Terry Barnes)

The Australian Greens are a bunch of morons more interested in creating shock headlines than actually providing considered and workable policies. They are worse than one nation and should be called the village idiot party.

America's intelligence community can afford to
confront China head on. However middle powers
like Canada and Australia need to navigate carefully.

It's quite a conundrum for both countries.
While they both can be deeply alarmed by some
of Beijing's behaviour - China on the one hand is a
vital trading partner while the United States is
the most important military ally.

Our Foreign Minister Marise Payne talks in broad
general terms about the importance of protecting
Australia's interests and security. Yet at the same
time trying to avoid confrontation as much as possible.

Warnings about China's intentions are not new and
smaller, yet influential countries like Canada and
Australia and many others will need to weather it in a
world increasingly less friendly. Australia is
probably the most exposed.

Foreign policy experts seem to believe that like-minded
nations should be speaking out together and swapping
notes about their run-in with the Chinese leadership,
even if the US is not always involved.

Careful navigation is key and so far it appears to be
working.

The Greens Policy
Here's our plan: We will tax the billionaires & big corporations, and provide the things we all need for a better life.

They appeal to those that prefer not to work and save and take responsibility for their life. They want to strip wealth from those that are sucessful in business and employ thousands and appeal to those that feel they are deprived - they believe communism shares the benifits so they are aligned to the Chinese Communist Party. "China NO THREAT!"

SM,

This coming from a bloke who supports masterbaing on the Ministers desk as a key component in determining policy. You managed to string together two sentences without referring to your favorite subject of Pedophila, well done. I hate to think what you fellas get upto at branch meetings.

"In his time he (the desk masterbater) worked for senior figures (in the Liberal Party) responsible for the management of the House of Representatives" Pray tell what "policy" did he come up with for you guys?

ttbn,

What can I say about your demented ravings, nothing.

Former Mandarin-speaking Prime Minister Kevin Rudd
has raised alarm over the prospect of a Chinese
invasion of Taiwan. According to him few in the West
realize the extent to which Chinese leader Xi Jinping
is eyeing a return of Taiwan to mainland control.

"It's right up there next to Xi Jinping's desire for the
party to remain in power and for him to be the prominent
leader with the Communist Party of China," Rudd said on
7.30 program on Wednesday. (shades of Putin).

Rudd said the only thing preventing an invasion of Taiwan
by China was avoiding similar sanctions as have been
imposed on Russia following the invasion of Ukraine.

China is watching Ukraine situation closely.

Rudd says that Australia's role should be one of encouraging
the US and other allies towards effective deterrence.
Working with allies such as - Japan, South Korea, India,
were crucial to avoid "sleepwalking into war.
