Yes, Albanese acquitted himself well in Tokyo, he was well received by the other three leaders. Penny Wong is an excellent choice as Foreign Minister. With almost 10 years of neglect and patronising by the Coalition in the Indo/Pacific Labor has a lot of work to do, to mend fences and repair relationships.

The cruncher for me last week was a "personal" plea in the form of a letter from the yesterdays man "Little Johnny' Howard, begging that I vote for the Coalition. That typified for me as to where the Coalition was at, rooted in the past, unable to move on.

Something that I can't wait to see is the return of the Tamil refugee family, the Nadesalingam's, back to their home in Biloela. The way the Coalition used this family for crass political purposes was a disgrace.

ps; Stephen Bates for the GREENS is still in the hunt for the seat of Brisbane, now 40 votes behind Labor, no matter what, it will go to a recount. On Saturday the number of young voters looking for a GREENS htv's was amazing, we were the only true progressive party standing in Bonner, and it showed. I did like the two old guys handing out for the LNP, they must have been 80 if they were a day, but nice fellas all the same, one in particular, we had a good convo. BTW the LNP gave their preference in our seat to One Nation, that was telling.

I don't care what you post, but to say 'Cry Baby' Porter was in line for $10 million plus in compo, a grovelling apology from the ABC, and 100 ABC staff sacked to pay for it all, which you clearly posted that claim, and when proven wrong to simply deny it is ridiculous. As for banning, despite the moderator claiming to have a 'zero tolerance' for calling other paedophiles, you were able to tag a now Greens Senator for NSW a paedophile with impunity, I wounder if Scott Morrison had been named that way would this site show such leniency. I once referred to an anonymous forum entity as an Islamophobia, and received a months suspension for failing to provide evidence of same. I take all that bias nonsense without concern.
