I'm not the one resorting to calling any of our
politicians by derogatory names or defending
the questionable behaviour of those rorting the
system simply because they happen to be on what
you perceive to be the "right" side of the political
spectrum. You have been singing from the same old
song book since I've known you.

Therein lies the problem. It's never your fault -
and unfortunately guys like you have well and truly gone past
your expiry date. You're not about to change - while the
country has changed and will continue to do so while you'll
get left behind on the dung heap of history.

Its sad that some people can't take defeat gracefully, our dear forum friend shonkyminister is such an example. The poor chap does say things that when proven to be wrong denies ever have said such. Just the other day on the forum he said that Labor can't form a majority, and look, they are now in a majority. The poor chap is a political dunce and unfortunately knows nothing about everything. He should be happy, with pair running the Coalition, Constable Clod and Davo, Davo who before entering politics was a real life bank teller, we must be thankful, Davo did unseat Barney. I assume Barney is plotting his return at this very moment.

ps; On a side, We had our first "Winter Lunch" yesterday for the homeless and the needy in the area, it went very well with a 3 course meal soup-hamburgers-peaches and custard. Got 35 along, and with support agencies attending, offering help and advice for those that wanted it. Talking to the young girl from 'Housing Queensland' affordable rentals are at crises levels today. We hope to hold a community information night in July, where the local community can come along and be informed about the situation in the area and how ordinary folk can help out. It don't take much, maybe just a donation of a can or a packet for the "Pantry" or some clothing for the op-shop, things like that, it don't require very much to be a help.

As I've stated in the past - trying to argue with
some people on this forum is like playing chess with
a pigeon. They'll crap all over the board, knock over
the pieces and then fly off claiming victory or worse -
become abusive. And lets not forget it will always be
our fault - not theirs.

Pauline Hanson has built a political career on white
victimhood and has brought far-right rhetoric to the
mainstream. She has tried to shape the normalisation
of racism and xenophobia in Australia. In doing so,
she's also created the political space for other
far-right narrow-minded bigots like Canem Malum to
emerge on this forum and elsewhere.

Luckily these people are a minority and One Nation
has only achieved modest electoral success.

Shadow Minister undoubtedly hopes that with the new
leadership of the Liberal Party there will be a
resurrection come the next election.
In the meantime - hopefully the current government
just may be able to pass the necessary bills and policies.

They have already made an excellent start.
