So to be serious, pray tell Indy, and ttbn, how should Lefties be treated? That nonsense, is far more dangerous talk than anything humerus I might post. Given your history of how you think others, those that don't agree with you, should be treated, I perish the thought of what you would accept as "different treatment".

The only difference between some people and the likes of Hitler and Stalin, and some other notables in that regard, is through circumstance and commitment Hitler and Stalin achieved the capacity to act on their beliefs, most like minded never have that necessary circumstance and commitment to be a leader, and never will, they can be no more than followers. Its surprising what moderate, fair minded followers, will accept as reasonable and necessary, from the extreme leadership, they take little convincing to follow.

I don't know Hobart, but in Sydney there was a pub in inner Sydney that ran "politics in the pub" on a Friday night. Even though I'm interested in politics, when I go to the pub, I'd much rather have a beer and congenial conversation, than an argument with a political nutter, left or right.
