The urge to censorship is strong in the left these days. If you can't win the argument, stop the argument. Of course, as with all things like this, the left will be surprised to find that this swings both ways. But you can be certain that they, and people like Paul, will suddenly discover the virtues of free-speech when they suffer censorship.
Despite Paul's usual toddler rants, the event wasn't going to be held in the open bar, but in a room within the pub complex. So people like Paul would have been protected from hearing things that they don't want to be true.
