I now support the protesters in Melbourne, even though I know it's a Covid risk. The mandatory vaccination policy and jabbing the kids, is enough for me to see that government has gone too far in the mess it's made, and people have a right to not be coerced into taking the vaccine and not be discriminated or penalised because of their position.

So I hope them boys down there in Melbourne give 'em hell.

They already have chips in the QLD drivers licenses and they are moving to contactless.
When I cross a toll road or bridge, the beeper in my car (which likely has a sim card of sorts) automatically detects me.
Why would it be any different for these licenses?
They say the technology is for future uses, but they don't say what that will be.

Also I heard the other day that if you go out to a club and need to show ID, the premises doesn't simply get proof that you are of age.

Yes. I support them too, as Andrews becomes more like Mr. Hyde by the day. As for danger, I believe that it is still true that there has never been a case of open air transmission.

It is possible to avoid going to venues where you have to provide ID and proof vaccination. These same businesses that whine about loss of income have joined the bad guys for their own benefit. Bugger them. Don't patronise them. They have been regarded by Big Brother as non-essential, which they are, so save your money.

A telling thing about the tradies' demos, which they look like continuing, is the break between Labor and its actual labour base. Victorian Labor is going to end up with no friends other than the intellectual Left, which doesn't work or produce anything.

These demonstrations in Victoria are what happens when politicians forget their places in a democracy, and act like dictators, as Daniel Andrews has. Frustration boils over when the rule of law and the tenets of Western civilisation are thrown out. It's not nice, but it is understandable - and inevitable - as long as we have politicians like Andrews and the premiers of WA, NSW and QLD.

All the sanctimonious do-gooders are pontificating about "thugs" - even "right wing" thugs, which the union movement is now apparently riddled with! - and the media is moaning about being attacked.
