Yup, the current Covid test is pretty good but as with any diagnostic test the higher you set the sensitivity the more false positives you will get. Setting that sensitivity high given the ramifications of Covid escaping into the community is perfectly understandable. So what is your point?

What a fact denying idiotic thing to say. Besides the fact that many under 80s have succumbed to the disease it turns out that countries who have gone hard on their Covid response have managed to protect their economies far better than those that haven't. Our iron ore sector is a case in point.
