By attending the opening of China's consulate in Adelaide, Premier Marsmallow told China that, no matter what they do to us, no matter what atrocities they commit, Australian politicians like him will suck up to them.

There are 10 staffers in this consulate in the residential suburb of Joslin - more than in most whole countries. Nothing to do with our multi-billion dollar defence and ship/submarine building, of course!

The locals and Adelaide's Uighur population are not happy. It is clear that SA's premier is the LNP equivalent of Victoria's China Dan.

It looks like we might be getting a missile plant in SA. Something else to keep the over-staffed Chinese consulate in Joslin interested. Marshmallow could give them a guided tour.

I feel that with Peter Dutton as defence minister
we'll have little to worry about regarding the
Chinese. Dutton will do an excellent job.

But, Dutton is still not the boss; and the boss is falling apart. There is no way the Liberals will have another leadership change any more than the opposition will. They think it makes them look bad. Personally, I think both current leaders make us look bad, and I trust neither of them to deal with the Chinese.

I think that Dutton is his own man. And, I think
that Morrison will happily leave the defence
problems to him. Just as Dutton was able to control
things in the best regarding our borders - I'm sure
he'll do just as well if not better this time around.
I think he's still got his eye on being PM.
