My fetishism is with cars I still remember the thrill of driving an Alfa Romeo P3 on the old Crystal Palace circuit in 1960, guns are a tool mostly and having carried my share of the heavy ones and legally carried a pistol as a civilian I have no desire to carry one now.
As far as defence goes I have my walking stick and I still retain the skills which the Australian Government had me taught.
Among other things that they had me taught is the skill to disable and/or kill with my bare hands.
