The vaccine being distributed across the US has to be done twice, i.e. around 660 million doses. At a million a day, that's nearly two years of vaccinations. With 'America First', that means that Africa and Asia etc. can come later, much later. But Biden will massively improve the status of the US around the world by sharing the vaccine equitably.

Wow: 'equitably'. There's a word that the US hasn't heard or used for quite a while.

Hi Pete,

Yes, this could be Trumpf's moment, one way or the other. It's Monday morning, US time I think, so the electors are about to go either with their states' popular mandate, or in effect, stage a mini-coup, state by state, and go against democracy, against their states' popular decision and go for the Trump dictatorship.

My bet is that they'll accede to the popular will, think about 2024 and dumpf Trumpf - and his Swampf. I have faith in the American people to do the right thing.

So what idiotic thing will Trumpf do then ? Call out his Fat Boys ? Getting them out there with their automatic weapons and bullet-proof vests and homoerotic kilts (and no doubt their mom-made lunches), to burn placards and make a real, real lot of noise ? And take over, what ? The local landscape gardening centre ?

Loudmouth you do not understand the American values of the Republican Party. They are not happy to have a child murderer and an alliance with the Chinese Communist Party and Iran to take over American values as is happening to their neighbour Canada.
