Congratulations to the greens for jettisoning that hypocritical wet blanket Dinner Tally.
The new senator I believe gives a huge new opportunity to virtue signal. I believe that she is not only able to represent women and the aboriginal community but I believe a lesbian Muslim with brain damage could be a token for the Muslim, LGBTIQWZ@ and disabled communities as well. The only question left is which pronouns does "zee" prefer? Posted by shadowminister, Friday, 16 October 2020 7:23:09 AM

Ditto repeato: this woman can represent only her state, not particular races or ethnicities, or her own barmy beliefs. The Senate is a house of review. She should have gone for a lower house seat if she wanted to rock any boats, not the Senate, whose denizens are not up to campaigning and actually winning a seat.

Why are we questioning this lady's DNA?
Would we do that if she was a bloke? She got the job on merit. Why not look at what she's done and her working background and how involved she is involved in her communities and electorate? People did vote her in and judge her on her actions not her looks. Strewth! Posted by Foxy, Friday, 16 October 2020 10:04:38 AM

Because Foxy, it has become a racket !
There is money involved, more if you claim to be aborigine. To make a false claim is a criminal act and the bureaucracy who get paid very big salaries to administer such things never check or there would be a pile on of complaint. Their ABC pays the extortion itself. If someone claims an aboriginal payment or privilege and they are 50% should they get prorata ? Posted by Bazz, Friday, 16 October 2020 10:52:18 AM

Paul1405,
Not only but succeeding also. Go to any remote indigenous community anywhere in the world & you'll find non-indigenous trying to assimilate.
In Australia they succeed because here anything Indigenous has become a rather lucrative career path & business model courtesy of utterly ignorant bureaudroids.
