Mr O,

Tony Abbott - my better?

Nah! I suspect you think he's your better.

Although who knows - he just may improve with age.
Lets try locking him in the cellar or sending
him out of the country like Morrison would love
to do -
ah wait ...

Seriously, my better is better than your better!

Foxy,

Do you think Scott Morrison pissed off folks in Cobargo when he jumped into his car with that look that seemed to say "Let's get the hell out of here and leave these losers to themselves."

"Let's get the hell out of here and leave these losers to themselves."
Mr Opinion,
Why he went there in the first place is a mystery in itself. They're all a bunch of Lefties anyway !
Of course it's Morrison's fault that they built right in amongst the Gumtrees !

It says a lot about Scott Morrison that the UK government snapped Abbott up when he could have been gainfully employed here. Abbott has been treated with good deal of juvenile nastiness by our accidental Prime Minister and his coterie.

individual,

You are looking more like a pre-Asianization redneck every time you post a comment.

I bet you're one of those people who will die with your eyes wide open to make sure no one sneaks up to steal the property you have acquired during your lifetime.

You need to embrace your Asianess and cease worrying about the Chinese getting their grubby little hands on all the stuff you will be leaving behind.

You could bequeath your property to Tony Abbott but he will probably just sell it to the Chinese just like he tried to do to the rest of the country.

Or better still just give it to me as a token of our Asian brotherhood and I'll promise to light an incense stick for you on every Happy Asia Day.

Scott Morrison was blamed by many for leaving the
country to burn when he took the family trip to
Hawaii. The PM was faced with angry residents when he
visited the Bega Valley township of Cobargo. The community
had been hard hit, so many people lost everything. They
needed help - and the PM's visit did not appease anyone.
The result came at the May 2019 election when Labor's
Mike Kelly retained the marginal seat of Eden-Monaro, which
includes Cobargo.

However, the PM's handling of the pandemic has been much
better. It just may save his prime ministership.
He's been listening to medical advisers and the number of
deaths have been minimal. Australia has done well in
coping with this virus and our PM and his government will
undoubted;y reap the benefits come election time.

As for Tony Abbott's new job?
The UK is currently negotiating trade deals with Australia,
New Zealand, and the United States. Will Tony Abbott's job
as a high level trade adviser to the United Kingdom see
him work to advance the interests of British exporters and
farmers at the expense of Australian producers? As Steve
Price seems to think it will?

And will a knighthood be in the works for Tony Abbott?

Who knows.
