individual,

As always, Paul is more interested in insulting other posters than he is in contributing to a topic. He is getting worst, almost at SteeleRedux's level. People like them are best ignored. Any response just encourages them.

"For example how would YOU deal with the young who re not inclined to pull their weight yet demand we support them for nothing but nothing in return ? What would YOU like to see being done about housing for the Bushfire victims right now & how much are you willing to have deducted from your pay every week ? I think everybody who lives & earns money in Australia should pay a 0.02 % Levy!"

To answers your questions Indy;

For young people I want to see opportunity, decent employment leading to worthwhile careers. Not some belittling jackass scheme where the young are victimised and seen as a tool to be exploited for the benefit of others, your National Service.

Your second question requires far more than a knee-jerk reaction. Bushfires and all natural disasters, and the multitude of questions as to how we as a society deal with the issues requires a great deal of thought. We are still coming to terms with the impact of the recent fires. Our old approach however useful, now seems inadequate to fully deal with such emergencies. I expect Australia to suffer more frequently in the future from environmental impacts. The solution is not some quick fix, like your 0.2% levy! Only with the real experts sitting down and discussing whats to be done can Australia have a reasonable change to deal with these problems.

BTW I note you say, "everybody who lives & earns money in Australia should pay a 0.02 % Levy!"
Like National Service, as a pensioner that cuts you out of paying does it not. I ask; What can YOU do to contribute to the betterment of Australia, other than having a whinge about the rest of us.

ttbn, you are a joke, you would be one of the biggest insults on the forum. You are up there with your mate who calls those he don't agree with "maggots".

Indy is a migrant, I reckon I picked it in one what kind of migrant he was. A ten pound Pom, famously known for their whinging about Australia.

Thanks racist Paul for all your help! Tell us more about all the people you don't like and how wonderful you are! I am joking, just ratchet down the insults and get a job rather than trolling here all day.

Paul1405,
As per usual you've got nothing to contribute other than your mindless quips.

You haven't even got sufficient grey matter to comprehend the definition of "everybody who lives & earns money in Australia should pay a 0.02 % Levy!".
It's obvious that you're not at all inclined to help others. The word Maggot comes to mind !

"She was given permission to clear up to 20 metres around the home; she cleared 50 metres - being more knowledgeable of the bush and fires than pen-pushers in Adelaide - and has since been fined for doing it. Her house is the only one still standing in her immediate neighbourhood."

This story more or less sums up everything's that's wrong, perfectly.
