Hi HenryL
I found this dated 9th May. Syndicate created day-care centres that didn't care for children: police http://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/syndicate-created-day-care-centres-that-didn-t-care-for-children-police-20190509-p51lkr.html There are some other articles on the topic if you google 'sydney daycare fraud', though this is the first that I've heard about it. Many of the articles in the search results quote a 4 million dollar figure; However I did find mention of 750 million here: http://au.finance.yahoo.com/news/100-sydney-childcare-centres-scamming-750-million-dollars-002827424.html One of the pictures in this article shows what appears to be a woman wearing a hijab. AC,
Thanks for that, you could also try the link below. I would not be surprized by the Hyjab as that area houses many muslims. This story apparently was there last week, what I don't understand is why no media has run with it and what other stories are we not told? http://www.acic.gov.au/media-centre/joint-media-releases/family-day-care-fraud-syndicate-dismantled Posted by HenryL, Monday, 16 September 2019 9:27:54 PM

If it was the Catholic church or a Christian church the abc would of run headlines for 6 months. Because it was muslims nothing to see. Posted by runner, Monday, 16 September 2019 9:41:01 PM

One thing I liked about this is that the police seized all of their assets as proceeds of crime. Good! That's the best thing to do to this type of human rubbish - hit them where it really hurts in their hip pocket. I wonder how many $$$ from their fraudulent activities ended up in the Middle East supporting terrorist groups.

I also wonder why it has not been all over the media, from last week.
I would appreciate a news link if some one can supply.
