AC, sorry and hope you and the family are coping.
It is always a hard time, but hang in there and chin up.

To SteeleRedux through the chair-

The word "racist" just demonizes the target without adding value to the discussion. To use this word is like so many words that are used to demonize- to me it discredits the users argument. If all you can say is "you're evil" you're probably better off saying nothing.

It seems the racist label is just designed to intimidate and terrorize people into silence.

Many people believe that the cultural values and family or genetic basis are important in the community. You can attack these people and say they are wrong and repeat the same old arguments as to why those that have these values are Nazi's but unless you're going to add something new to the discussion it's probably a waste of time.

What you could do if you really want to contribute is to tease out the reasons why people believe what they do. Anti-racism is an ideology- the problem with most ideologies is they create an absolute morality- then say all those that contradict this arbitrary moral framework are evil. It depends on the situation but this seems to be an unsophisticated methodology. Perhaps all politics is arbitrary in this way.

Paraphrasing Einstein "to solve a problem you need to go deeper than the problem itself".

The label racist seems synonymous with "ad hominem"

SteeleRedux- I really don't mind if you call me an idiot or a racist. You might meditate on why that would be.

How very frail racists truly are, if that was not true these young idiots would be up to their necks in protesters
Mimicking the Victorian group of idiots they too are a product of a justice system unwilling to get out comes the community expects not race

There is no need to demonize Communism, it demonizes it's self. Communism failed. Get used to the idea. The most terrible system ever foisted on people.
