Philip S.,

I forgot to add that it is possible to survey an
entire population, but time and expense make
the procedure impractical unless the population
is a small one. In most cases it is necessary
to survey a sample, a small number of individuals,
drawn from a larger population. This sample must
of course accurately represent the population in
question. If it doesn't , then any conclusions
are valid only for the respondents - the actual
subjects of a survey - and cannot be applied to
the entire population from which the sample
was drawn.

Therefore it should be stressed that the subjects
need to be representative of the population concerned.
The Gallup poll is very successful and has become a
regular feature of the American scene.

Some truths, Labor is clearly going to win the election.
My roll in the campaign, both state and federal is set in stone
What benefit would I get from lying
Labor *knows* it got boat arrivals wrong.
It too knows the *must* not do it again *ever*
They/we know offshore detention has become cruel
But know they will never be elected if they muck this up, ever
Yes Shorten WILL try to find homes for current detainees, not here
Bill, once PM will be much liked, even by some here warning against him
He knows his job
And he knows he must gain the trust of those who are afraid of him
Fact Conservative Liberals are driving their party over the cliff Labor has it in the bag
Post Script Yes offshore detention is cruel yes our country,s good name is blotted by it, but the most important people in the world Liberal and Labor are the reason no change will come, they are the Australian voters

Quote "Some truths, Labor is clearly going to win the election."

Same was said about Hillary Clinton.

I rest my case.

Foxy You are delusional if 1 person can represent the opinions of 150,000.

Quote "The Gallup poll is very successful and has become a regular feature of the American scene."

You get the same answer as Belly Hillary Clinton.
Case closed.

Philip S first the very thing you roll up in a mud covered ball and hurl at Foxy is showing a Labor victory
Polls, it is the defense of those not wanting to hear the truth to claim they are not worth the effort
Only a quick return to small L Liberal policy can save the train wreck ahead for Conservatives
hold me to it next year
