runner - there you have the reason it is going wrong again, when you have one group of people saying something and another group of people saying the opposite.

The number of dire warnings and predictions of doom that have past with nothing happening is reasonably long.

When one group stand to get a share of billions of dollars to say something is real can you really trust them?

When one group blames the floods on something then turn around and also blame the droughts on the same thing can you trust them?

Someone is not telling the truth.

"out in the bush things are as they always were."
Things in the Arctic have wiggled a small bit mainly due to all the hot humans measuring , filming, recording , cooking, keyboarding, saying 'oh my god', texting and daylight saving.

There appears to be a lot of human activity in Antarctica these days, no wonder things are changing. Wherever humans go evolution speeds up.

Yes that's clear . Places without humans have very little human evolution.

You must be right Belly.

Only the hot ones are from human activity. The cold ones are just natural variation OF COURSE.

Just for interest, have a look at history mate.

Extreme heat in 1896: Panic stricken people fled Broken Hill. It makes any heat wave since look like just a warm afternoon.

I guess it was all those SUVs the miners owned back then.
