Because old chap - it wasn't the New York Times from which
I'd gotten the list I gave. I thought it was from the
Times and I would have given it but I had
difficulty finding it. I eventually did find it -
It was from a site that is part of
the PBH network (ProseBeforeHos) a mixed media political satire
network founded in 2005. It has quite a few networks that deal
with political satire and other issues.

Well in a way I must come across as smug, just as smug as runner ise mise and my well tested sparring partner indy.
ALTRAVE in there some place maybe not smug but over committed to his own views.
We can all get it wrong, me as much as anyone, but why do we try to trip others at every chance?

Let's just remember that accusation for a moment.

You asserted that "Trump said he would fork over $1,000,000 if Warren took a DNA test and it showed she had Indian ancestry." But he didn't say that. did he?. He said he'd pay if it showed she was "an Indian". So you've reworded the situation from being 'an Indian' to having Indian ancestry. Oh dear, SR. Naughty naughty.

This supposed test showed she has some small amount of Indian blood. But that doesn't make her an Indian. Even the real Indians are saying that. In the US there are strong and firm rules about what makes one an Indian and Warren doesn't come within cooee of meeting those standards.

And yes, according the research from 2014, she has less Amer-Indian blood than the average white American.

Still I get why you are so anxious to make a big deal out of all this minutia and to twist the words so as to get something, ANYTHING, on Trump. As he scores more and more wins in the real world it must be very disheartening for you. I simultaneously sympathise with and laugh at your dilemma.

But keep trying SR. I'm sure you'll find something eventually. Meanwhile despite what Trump said, I don't think he an his supporters are tired of winning yet.

But what I find rather revealing is the attitude of those who consider themselves to be our moral betters. Its is now proven that this woman lied about her heritage in order to gain the benefits and jobs meant to go to real native Americans in order to give them a leg up. She essentially stole benefits from truly disadvantaged groups. Yet the SR's of this world hurry to look the other way. If this had been done by a Republican or Australian Liberal they'd be figuratively calling for the reintroduction of the death penalty. Truly it is said that if it wasn't for their double standards they'd have no standards at all.
