Most immigrants want to go to 'merica for economic reasons an some figure better live in a country that drops the bombs rather than in one on the receiving end.
Most 'mericans have little idea as to the rest of the world beyond those countries being touted as 'good' or 'bad'.
Personally I view majority of 'mericans as respectful, well mannered, God fearing yokels that have little idea as to what is happening around the world and are quite happy to accept their Govt's story on most things.
