Unfortunately this particular piece of propaganda isn't just offering alternative opinions, it's promulgating 'alternative facts'. I take a dim view of film-makers telling outright lies to people poor dumb Muricans and Europeans who don't know any better and might be hoodwinked by this work of fiction.
If you have to lie to people in order to dissuade them from eating roo, it suggests that it's because there are no persuasive factual arguments against doing so.
//This film, which I have not seen, offers some alternative which all I am saying is, people have a right to express that alternative opinion.//
Do they have a right to invent their own 'alternative facts' if it's supposed to be non-fiction? Or is this one of those movies that is 'based on a true story', i.e. a complete load of cobblers from opening credits to end credits?
//I am always suspicious of those who react to criticism with howls of "how dare you question me!" as is evident in this case//
Yes, how dare I question Comrade Rhiannon or lying liars and the lies they tell. Obviously those particular people should be above criticism. Naughty Toni.
//what is wrong with a 'Vegetarian Venison Shish Kebab on a Organic Skewer with a Dill Sauce'//
Either the venison or the vegetarian - it can be one or the other, but not both. Unless it's a combination meat kebab, featuring venison and the flesh of dead vegetarians. That would be OK, albeit illegal.
