He didn't, what he admitted to was shooting elephants under local management plans, where surplus/old bulls are culled under strict control.
The money that Borsak, and others, pay for the privilege goes into Government funds and goes some way towards funding the armed Rangers who patrol the reserves to deter poachers.

All that Robert did was contribute to the conservation of the local animals.

Of course, you and the Greens, in general, know all this but that doesn't stop you from peddling misinformation.
