AC,

Why on earth would Toni wipe his donkey with an Australian flag?

Equus africanus asinus would be just as happy with a wipedown with an old towel.

Sorry to be so pedantic, but we are talking in the Australian context, are we not?

Some of you lot seem to misunderstand a few simple facts.
All peoples who migrated here can be divided up like this;

Almost all European immigrants have wanted to fit in and with
intermarriage most of them did just that.

The Chinese want to live the same as we do and fit in, but there is a
tendency for less intermarriage.

The Jews have a policy of fitting in with the rest of society but
they have a policy of not intermarrying. Non Jews are not encouraged
to become part of their religion.

The moslems do not believe in multiculturalism. They do not want to
intermarry unless the woman becomes a moslem.
Moslem women are not allowed to marry infidels.
They want all of us to become moslem OR ELSE ! (Koran policy)

Rather accurate don't you think ?

I've just come back to read a few of the latest
comments. I can see that feelings are beginning
to get rather heated. I think it's time for me to
leave this discussion. I don't like confrontation.
Never have. Especially when it appears to be
getting nasty.

I wish all of you gentlemen a good-night.
I no longer want any part of it.
Big mistake to have entered this discussion in the
first place.

Banjo,

I am not trying to discourage o sung wu; I just suggested that he has no need to bother with the likes of Steeleredux. He is too good for that, as most of us with similar values are.

You are right. There are probably more people who are readers of OLO than posters. There is also the not-small matter of media monitoring. Politicians and all sorts of people get to hear about our conversations, and that is what's important, not the ranting of ignoramuses trying to win arguments.

You most certainly should continue posting. I have just finished watching an online interview by Mark Steyn of James E. Mitchell, author of “Enhanced Interrogation” about his dealings with the mastermind of the 9-11 atrocity, and the mindsets of Islamic maniacs. Given the shockingly gutless nature of Western elites and their total misunderstanding of Islam and its intent, we are in a lot of trouble.

Dear Foxy,

You are of course right, “It's a huge disservice to label people.”

Unfortunately I find myself falling well short of your quite reasonable standards. I have repeatedly referred to our friend as OLO's resident “pustule”. I'm loathed to intentionally disappoint but on this occasion I'm afraid I must. The moniker stays.

Dear o sung wu,

You wrote;

“You know STEELEREDUX you're becoming much more pugnacious lately, I wonder why?”

Possibly the gout? Anyway my friend between the two of us you were certainly the most pugnacious in the past. Perhaps it is my turn for a change.

Who are the powerful? Saudi Arabia is the beneficiary of arms imports from both the US and the UK among others. It spreads terrorism and a toxic brand of Islam across the globe. The Gillard government committed over 100 million dollars in aid to Indonesia to bring Saudi funded Madrassahs into the mainstream school system. Abbott for his own reasons withdrew that funding.

“As-Safir said Prince Bandar pledged to safeguard Russia’s naval base in Syria if the Assad regime is toppled, but he also hinted at Chechen terrorist attacks on Russia’s Winter Olympics in Sochi if there is no accord. “I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics next year. The Chechen groups that threaten the security of the games are controlled by us,” he allegedly said.”

Not a peep from you?

You claimed “guys like STEELEREDUX want to do is support refugee immigration and Islam per se”

Conflation of refugees and immigration? Not surprising but wrong. As stated I do not support our current levels of immigration but I certainly do support our refugee intake and it is something that makes me proud to be an Australian.

I am dead set against organised religion of any stripe including Islam. Leaders of the Christian faith have buggered their way through thousands of Aussie kids and utterly destroyed lives and families. As a measure of damage to Australians the the Islamists have a lot of catching up to do. A pox on both their houses.

“Anti-Colonial: the last time I looked we have never been invaded by a Moslem country.

You haven't looked at the EU or the UK lately?”

We are not the UK nor the EU. Left-over colonials yearning for a motherland in Europe, are free to return. If refugees fleeing conflict are an invasion, does that make January 26th invasion day?

Leaving aside the “hindsight” whitewash, even our PM accepts Iraq 2 was a tragic error. Yet no official apology for our role in that error or any acceptance of any type of responsibility. Deaths caused by wars started with false Intelligence beliefs, whoops! Deaths by false religious beliefs, terrorism!
