Why on earth would I want to make myself familiar with
somebody else's Holy Book? I have enough on my plate
just keeping up with my daily life. What with volunteering
at my mum's nursing home, looking after grandchildren,
copping with my injuries (I've got one good leg left),
going to specialists, taking my medications - and you want
me to now humour you - as well?
I take people as I find them and so far I've been very
fortunate. Most people have been decent human beings.
It is the spirit of the human being which can fill me with
more joy than anything in the world. I've actually met very
few bad people along my life's journey. That could be due
to the way that I was brought up.
