I'm baffled as to what this has to do with elections.

Considering Alexander the Great conquered territory in India, the Greeks were certainly there, and as they were great explorers I wouldn't be at all surprised if a few made it as far as Bali. Not so the Romans, who were far more cautious at sea and instead concentrated on defending (and sometimes extending) their empire. But we know there was overland trade across Asia, and some sea based trade too.

The stuff about eagles is probably just coincidence. Being the biggest birds around, of course great significance was ascribed to them on whatever continent they were seen.

I clicked the Cartoon box but they put it in Elections. The Yank Jupiter eagle was a deliberate choice as the Indonesian Jupiter is a choice of election . The stars called Aquila constellation could obviously be anything : emu , koala , billabong , etc. But they are called the eagle and are named in connection with Jupiter the god,and wives, with a crow / vulture also as a star .
