There's absolutely no need to imagine secret labs run by Americans (why not Russians or Chinese?) Humans across the tropics (including Australia) have managed to bring this on by expanding into bat habitat, without any need for secret labs.

It's pointless analysing the conspiracy videos and websites in detail, since those who are conned by them are not going to listen. But it's easy: at one point it is said 'shock horror how did ebola show up 3500km away?'. Aeroplane with passenger not yet aware of infection? Not to mention that bats fly, the bat populations are spread across tropical Africa, and the virus is probably endemic across the range.

Prof Francis Boyle is an international Prof of Law who wrote the laws that prohibit germ warfare in the USA. They simply took their labs to Africa and experimented there.

Prof Boyle says they have weaponised Ebola crossing it with the common cold so now it is airborne.

1. Boyle is a lawyer not a biologist.
2. Crossing ebola with the common cold? Very different viruses. This claim alone demonstrates the nonsense of the conspiracy theory.
3. Why would you 'weaponise' a virus like ebola which is not easy to transmit between people (see 2)? Why not just take an already easily transmissable virus like the flu and make a more virulent strain?
4. But, it's foolish to 'weaponise' a virus to which there is no cure (and there are no cures to virus diseases). You die along with your enemies. Weapons are only useful if you can control them.

It's a conspiracy theory, no matter how many old guys with law degrees they drag out and how many videos there are on You-tube.
