Really, I didn't need to do that analysis. There's a much simpler explanation of why this conspiracy theory is nonsense - the psychology of power.

People become rich and powerful billionaires by expanding their businesses and building empires. We may be their slaves but they need us to buy stuff and borrow money to keep them rich. Downsize by 90%? No way!

PS I do think the world population needs to come down, but slowly, not catastrophically, and not to 10%.

The advances in genetic manipulation and robotics is quite unnerving. Like Hitler they want to breed the super race and have advanced robots to serve them. They are also on the brink of doubling life spans, so we cannot have the masses getting access to these new advances.

This conflict between Russia + China and the West is all about money power. Russia kicked out our central bankers and nationalised resources. China has many Govt banks and is also to a large degree independent from our banks, but oligarchs tend to think the same in regards to their populations and view them as being expendable.

Most wars are bankers wars whereby they finance both sides of a conflict. So it does not matter who wins. The Vietnam war was all about selling chemicals and bombs. They dropped more bombs on Vietnam than the entire WW2.

I was watching Stephen Hawking being interviewed recently and he gave a hypothesis of man asking an advanced self evolving computer if god exists. Computer answer," He does now."

They "already" have power, with the set up exactly as it is.

Why in the world would these people want such a drastically reduced population when Capitalism is thriving so well with the amount we've got and the technology we've got, and the wars we've got, etc. Take 90% of the population away - and you ain't got it anymore.

Whatever the intentions of the handful of people who own 95% the planet's wealth and media, they are not making the planet a safer, cleaner, healthier or more pleasant place to live. The current population and way of life of humans is unsustainable. It must be an attractive idea, being one of the few million who inhabit a clean and fresh planet run by slaves and robots. There are many Sci-fi stories about such Arcadian dreams. Dont underestimate the stupidity of people who have never learned the lesson that more than enough is too much.

Arjay the conspiracy theories you are spruiking simply to not make sense as there is no win for the Rich you are accusing of plotting to kill us off.

Adding to all the reasons Cossomby spelled out for you, if your conspiracy is happening, the Billionaires legions are doing a very bad job of achieving their objective. Let's say you are right about Ebola and Lymes being weaponised germ warfare (that part is not totally out of the question); let's also add every known form of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease as also being manufactured weapons. The sum total of all these 'weapons' still isn't putting a dent in population growth and has no hope of reducing the population by 90%.

One of the conditions of the world we live it is the Law: >for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction<. Let's propose a new conspiracy theory that there is a whole secret society of do gooders funding the survival of mankind? After all we can see White Knights all over the world trying to save people from these diseases with some success. Is this good conspiracy remotely possible? No more so than your evil billionaire theory.

I believe out-of-control population growth is the biggest problem facing the future, maybe a 100 times more threatening than climate change. Some of the Third World populations are breeding like rabbits. In my recollection China is the only country that aimed to openly control its population growth and China's efforts were met with relief from the West and at the same time condemnation for breeching people's basic human rights.

If Billionaires are conspiring to reduce the population wouldn't it be easier to just secretly sterilize the 'undesirables', or kill them off by poisoning the water they drink?

Sorry Arjay, but you need to find a new and hopefully more positive campaign to champion. You'll find the world is a much nicer place if you do.

The powerful elite who enjoy the spoils of this system are only powerful because of this system - why would they seek to eradicate the very source of their power - with a bloody virus which doesn't discriminate between billionaires and ordinary plebs?
