And don't forget the biggest debacle of all Campbell Newmman and the corrupt Qld LNP he leads. Why have the right wing Qld governments, past and present, been so corrupt? Is corruption in their DNA? Seems so.
What a disaster for Queensland the past 2 years have been. Posted by Nhoj, Monday, 9 June 2014 1:48:18 PM

Nhoj, we've had the same experience here in NSW, where a corrupt Labor government was replaced by the conservatives, on what was basically an anti-corruption platform. The irony is The Liberal scum buckets are proving to be as corrupt as Labor ever was. With the likes of O'Farrell getting off on a 3 grand bottles of plonk, these wombats have no shame. From a Federal perspective both Abbott and Hockey, as is Baird, are members of the parties NSW 'North Shore Mafia'. A collection of conservative who have their fingers in more than one pie!
Nhoj, if you ask them, they will all tell you they have a divine right to rule, been anointed by god himself. LOL Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 9 June 2014 2:11:24 PM

Advice for prospective candidates can be found in Neil Young's Greendale album, as Grandpa says :
"It ain't a privilege to be on TV and it ain't a duty either. The only good thing about TV is shows like 'Leave it to Beaver.'" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovZIFtXixcQ Posted by Jay Of Melbourne, Monday, 9 June 2014 2:34:27 PM

While I might agree with you, the caution I would add is that the career politicians are like this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kf4nlIEHfaU and Labor isn't alone in that. Posted by onthebeach, Monday, 9 June 2014 3:01:11 PM

What could be more insane that the two major parties consistently selling our country down the toilet and we keep voting them back in.
I'll continue to vote for Clive to break up this political cartel since they only represent private central bankers and not we the people. Posted by Arjay, Monday, 9 June 2014 3:13:41 PM

What a shocking performance and must be embarrassing for all that voted for these Senators at last election. Palmer showed himself to be nothing more than an idiot.
Willisee was exceedingly kind to all. In no way could the interviews be deemed as hostile.
I do not hold the electorate as being very intelligent, but surely Australia deserves better than displayed last night.
Still, after the debacle of the last six years, nearly 50% will still vote Labor, so what hope is there?
