If you want proof Clive Palmer is full of bull just ask yourself - Where is the new Titanic? Replicating the Titanic was just an exercise in self promotion. Now that he has more air time he's completely forgotten about the project.

Clive doesn't care any more about the little guy than he does about running his resort into the ground. Clive only care's about Clive.

We have BIG PROBLEMS if people believe Clive Palmer is the answer. This man is so self-interested he exudes megalomania. I cannot understand how anyone who has ever seen him say anything can actually swallow he drivel and be happy to support his cause.

The sad reality is we also have big problems with Labour and the Coalition, and will certainly have a big problem if the Greens hold the balance of power. I wish I had a realistic answer to offer for consideration.

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone raise the irony of the Palmer United Party's acronym PUP. Maybe it's been raised before and I just missed it.

"Being sold a pup" (British informal) = to be tricked into buying something that is not worth anything. I'm afraid you've been sold a pup there.

I will give Clive credit for probably being cleaver enough to see the irony and laughing all the way to Parliament.

Only his money keeps the men in white coats away.

<< but I did vote for her>> Chris I certainly believe you would. Her "policies" would be right up your ally!

The biggest danger to PUP is not Tony Abbott, but Big Clive himself, for that who voted PUP, judging by their antics so far I think you have been sold a pup.
