Hasbeen,

Hohoho...your mob doesn't even wait till they've left the job.

Remember the LNP rort-a-thon that was exposed shortly after they took office....all nicely taken care of by the Minchin Protocol.

I lost count of the number of LNP pollies who were embroiled in dubious claims...involving many thousands of tax payer dollars.

So, yeah, they're rip-off merchants.

‘morning rehctub,

Seems like you’ve drawn quite a bit of fire from the progressives? It’s interesting that they are consistent in one thing, they all telegraph the issues that pain them.

That’s great for target practice of course but there does seem to be more than a little panic in their ranks.

To survive in Australia, our progressives need a “permissive” environment. This includes support from public broadcasting and much of the MIA MSM, humanities academia, political movements with which they can form parasitic relationships and bucket loads of garlic to fend off that nasty public scrutiny.

They sense the collapse of this permissive environment but fail to realize that it is their own words and deeds that expose who and what they are, whilst at the same time destroying their own fading “cred” with the public.

They still believe they can win the ideological war but have not yet recognized they are fighting the wrong battles, which will be fought on economic grounds through the expense review and productivity commission.

It will be very simple for the government to identify that which does not produce a return on investment. I expect the ABC to be exposed along the very same lines as the trade unions. Universities will lose funding for both non-core academic research through the ARC and student ratio funding for universities, so fewer humanites academics.

As for the political party’s with which they have parasitic relationships, the RC will leave very little for parasites to feed off as the law and public scrutiny destroys their hosts, and Poof goes the permissive environment!

Now if you were a progressive, wouldn’t you get animated, vocal, aggressive and louder?

Non-progressives are often berated on OLO for not being thinkers, low on intellect, poorly educated and in denial. Yet these are the elites that can’t even see right battle field!

It’s far too late for them now of course, but their “whining squalkertariat turbines” will be with us for a while yet as the last of their ideological fuel is exhausted in the wrong battle

Spinner – you’re a bit late to the party, thought you would eventually come in. I predicted your appearance last Monday, I thought you had let me down.

Great to see amongst your rhetoric words like “parasitic”, “produce” and “parasites”, there’s hope yet.

All we have to do now is work on the context.

Not parasitic = Agriculture and manufacturing.

Parasitic = Political parties and spin doctors.

Produce = Food and shelter

Non Produce = Law and banking

Good Parasite = Doctor and policeman

Bad parasite = Eddie and Arthur

All this denigration of the Abbott government has been mainly devoted to broad brush condemnation without reference to their many actual achievements in what has been a hectic five months. For a carefully compiled list of these achievements to date it is worth studying and bookmarking the following (and adding to the chronicle anything that has been omitted):

Empoeror Julian,

Aside from attempting to axe carbon pricing and Hockey's pantomime on Australia's fiscal health can you name me any area where the govt hasn't deceived or misled by omission?

In almost every area they are lobbing surprises - things they never mooted prior to the election (and to people like me they aren't surprises at all)

Tones is gung-ho for repeatedly holding pressers on MH370, each time with very scant new info in an increasingly ludicrous effort to deflect from this govt's weasel-like policy initiatives...noting that pensioners are set to get it in the neck now.

They didn't hint about that in their lies and slogans pamphlets.

Nice bit of hocus-pocus from the tatty circus called the Abbott govt.

Sorry. I've racked my brains and I'm afraid I can't. For a party that lied us into war I'm not confident I ever will. Others might manage though as there is quite a steady stream of praise as distinct from complaints about other parties.
