Hi there POIROT...

Very nice to speak with you again Poirot. I've got to agree with you with respect to this reinstatement of some of these Imperial Honours, Knighthoods etc. somewhat of an anachronistic proposal I would've thought.

So you're saying that it's his Chief of Staff, Ms Peta CREDLIN, is the power behind the throne ? Together with his penchant for circumventing normal Cabinet protocol, by creating Dukes & Dutchesses etc, suggests he lacks the necessary wherewithal for quality leadership. Suppose for a moment I concede that you're perhaps right ? Who in the existing Parliamentary Labour Party then, has the makings of a good leader ? And to extrapolate that, a good Prime Minister ? Nice speaking with you again Poirot too.

@Producer, Wednesday, 9 April 2014 5:42:36 PM

You could come back as 'gutless' for not even having the intestinal fortitude to name the worthy Australian you smeared by association but refused even to name.

Here again,

<Producer, "I wonder if Arthur will get the same short shift as Peter got from his colleagues if he is proved wanting"

Arthur who? Peter who? What exactly do you mean by that statement?>

Obviously you intended a smear, so out with it.

Good evening to you PRODUCER and BAZZ...

Hi there PRODUCER...

I've not met Tony ABBOTT either, but to be quite truthful with you I do support two of his major policy positions. The first is to reduce our national debt. The second is to halt illegal boat people, or to be more precise, to interdict 'people trafficking' and in so doing, make available more space to accommodate many of those poor souls who've been languishing (patiently) for some years, in some of the world's less then opulent refugee camps, in order to be resettled in a safe and welcoming country.

'evening to you BAZZ...

I kind of agree with you concerning some of the unique mannerisms and peculiar body language, Tony ABBOTT employs occasionally ? Perhaps initially he was shy ? Who knows ? Though, somehow I've got this feeling that he may well surprise many of his detractors/critics with flashes of brilliance ? He's certainly demonstrated his capacity for human kindness and other acts of compassion as evidenced by his activities in many of the country's civil services eg Bushfire Brigade, Lifesaving and his Yearly visitations to remote aboriginal settlements, undertaking both manual and leadership tasks, thereat.

I reckon our PM., Mr Anthony ABBOTT may well turn out to be a surprise packet ? His academic achievements are beyond reproach, so the only detectable flaws his critics seem to be able to identify, are that of his personality ? As you've inferred, his gait, even his appearance and his peculiar mannerisms and gestures ? Well BAZZ, we'll see in the fullness of time I guess ?

Yeah, otb...save it on the subject of Ms Credlin.

I'm sure she went to school and worked hard and what not.

She's Abbott's constant spirit in a govt that in my opinion is rabid right-wing in the extreme. You know she rules the Cabinet room with an iron fist - and Tones can barely tie his shoe laces without a directive from her.

Here's what she said when she "got off" her drink-driving charge:

"Justice doesn't have to be done, it has to be seen to be done."

Nice one

.......

o sung wu,

Good question...maybe Albanese or Burke, but at the moment I'm unsure of Labor in respect of their Asylum Seeker policy.

But I'll support anyone who stands up to this lying govt and their deceptive ways.

Don't worry too much about them chrisgaff1000, between them they will be ripping a couple of hundred thousand a year out of the rest of us, for life.

And Poirot reckons the present government are rip off merchants.
