As we pass through seventy years of age, some of us may ponder what life ahead will bring us ? With medical science as it is, most of us are lucky to be still in the 'vertical' ? When in reality, if we'd been born three or four centuries in times past, few of us in fact would've made fifty let alone seventy ?

Some of us also, 'enjoy' the sporadic companionship of the 'black dog' who selflessly follows us about, as we endure our days, and our nights. And inevitably, transfers his odd influence and deleterious impact to other people, people we ourselves love and wish to shield.

So when we ultimately reach this nebulous point of our lives, seventy four or five years of age, we must then resolve whether or not to jump, or wait a little longer and be summoned ? Otherwise our continued presence amongst those of whom we harbour deep affection, might well be similarly 'infected' with this dreadful affliction this cursed, black dog freely passes around ?
