Hi there Folks...

I'm not entirely sure, but Ms Corby can't make too much money from her exploits, as asserted by someone herein ? I was under the belief the 'Proceeds of Crime legislation would apply to her ? Please correct me if I'm wrong ?

Dear O Sung Wu,

You're right.

In 2009 Corby was forced to forfeit $128,000 to the
Commonwealth in profits from her book, "My Story," and
a magazine article.

Hi there FOXY...

What a pleasant surprise to hear from you. I hope you're feeling much better, now that you've had some rest ?

Thank you for your information about the forfeiture of monies earned, from a book and a magazine article written by Ms Corby. That was also my understanding of the law.

Interestingly, an Indonesian government official has cautioned her against providing any sort of interview to the Australian media, as it could occasion a reversal of her parole, and therefore return her, back into prison. I would think the lady should carefully heed that wise counsel, and remain very quiet indeed, until she's in a position to return to Australia ? The possibility of being returned to prison, would far outweigh any ruminations she might have, in connection with 'Proceeds of Crime' legislation, I should think ?

Thank you FOXY for taking the trouble to inform us all of Ms Corby's previous forfeiture situation, in 2009. I'm sure we all appreciate it very much indeed. And please look after yourself too.

Who has seen the Schapelle Corgi with the hat and veil?

What about the "Leave Schapelle Alone" video?

Then there is the 'Victa Corby' - guess its features!

Anyhow, the Indonesian public will have some say on how someone on parole for drug smuggling should behave. Luxury apartment giving paid interviews or some humility, low profile and don't stir the possum?

Welcome back, Foxy ! I hope everything is okay :)

So what's the bet that Corby is back behind bars within a month ? That she won't be able to resist the big bucks, like those little kids in the ad who can't resist grabbing the lollies ? Why do crooks think they are smart ?

we'll see.

Dear O Sung Wu and Joe (Loudmouth),

Thank you both for your kind words and concern.
It's good to be back and I have missed you guys
and your positive outlooks. As far as my health
is concerned - its a work in progress. But being
surrounded by positive people certainly helps.

As for Schapelle Corby? She's certainly a bit of a
puzzle. It's amazing how opinions about her have
changed compared to what people thought a decade ago.
Perhaps one day the entire truth will eventually
come out. For me, there's so many unanswered questions.
I've prefer not to go down the path of whether I think
she's innocent or guilty. I agree with Krew Boylan
the actress who played Schapelle in the TV drama that
Schapelle has suffered enough. I too feel that Schapelle
has paid her dues and it is time she was released.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that Schapelle will lead
a healthy life-style, fall in love, get married, and
have her own kids. I wish her well.
