just keep the public funds coming. We can continue to interpret every cold spell, every hot spell and every in between spell as part of 'climate change'. Just keep the funds coming and keep business's going to the wall by our idiotic socialist tax. OH yeah three cheers from the pure spotless UN. They are so pleased with us. Keep the funding coming. Still a few gullible believers. Just keep the funding coming.

Hi there Joe (LOUDMOUTH)...
You know Joe we, here on our (Graham's) modest little forum, are tremendously fortunate to have our very own 'Media Watch' arbiter ? Under no lesser personage than that great protagonist for truth, justice, and the Islamic way...STEELEREDUX, a legend in his own lunch time ! But wait, there's more...? This same fellow, considered an anathema by some conservative free thinking individuals, is a staunch adherent even a custodian of our very own and manifestly un-biased, National Broadcaster, the ABC. So Joe, we should all pause momentarily, lest this misanthropic antagonist chooses to deal with us with the asperity, for which he's pre-eminent ? For it has been said far stronger men, have been seen to 'wither' merely within his incensed presence ? Posted by o sung wu, Tuesday, 4 February 2014 3:49:10 PM

Dear SteeleRedux,
<<Even if the report read exactly as Joe stated it do you really think it is part of some sort of conspiracy? From a Murdoch paper?>> Sorry - how I am supposed to know about this Murdoch guy and who owns what papers? I haven't read Australian newspapers for many years, and even then it was only for the "Classified" section, before it was available on the internet: perhaps the only time I glimpse one (which isn't the "Australian") nowadays is while I wait for a haircut , but even then I tend to bring my own book. My information about "global warming" comes not from newspapers, but from watching a DVD with friends, featuring scientists whose names are on AGW-supporting scientific papers, explaining in detail how they were told to massage the statistics so it fits the global-warming idea, then when they either refused or later felt remorseful, they still had their names as the "authors" of those papers, often without their knowledge, and since they found out about it (and how many other scientists never did!) they are struggling unsuccessfully to have their names removed. I have seen for myself time and again how commonly "scientists" will *prove*, using selective data and doubtful methods, whatever is asked of them by those who feed them. They too have families and a mortgage... Posted by Yuyutsu, Tuesday, 4 February 2014 5:04:27 PM

Dear o sung wu,
Nice of you to drop in friend. Kinda reminds me of my favourite Tom Waites song, $29. “Now, for the sirens it's just an epilogue The cops always get there too late! They always stop for coffee On the way to the scene of the crime! They always try so hard to look like movie stars, They couldn't catch a cold! Baby: don't waste your dime” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zus00TIPUJg This would have to be the coolest songs known to man and Lord knows I have played it to death. You wrote; ”For it has been said far stronger men, have been seen to 'wither' merely within his incensed presence” It must be the cedarwood, you should try some. http://robjo.wordpress.com/2010/03/22/16-common-incenses-and-their-uses/ Well this is a good old ramble. I suppose though we really can’t totally ignore the topic Joe has graciously furnished us with since that would indeed be ill-mannered. Care to contribute? abc perth this morning had some joker (and that is kind) from the Conservation gravy train blaming Perths fires on gw. Yep and he wants the polluters charged. From his air conditioned office he equated electricity producers with tobacco companies. Lunatics like this are left to indoctrinate kids with his religion. No wonder the world is so mad and it takes the abc to broadcast this rot.

Well it doesn't look like I'm am going to get any takers for my wager and I have just realised why. Saturday's forecast for Adelaide is 42C. I will not take the Murdoch press' word for it so I will have to go back through the data to make sure, but if that eventuates it looks like the 'City of Churches' may have experienced a summer with a record number of days over 40 degrees in over 125 years of record taking.
Just keeps adding up. Posted by SteeleRedux, Thursday, 6 February 2014 11:33:26 PM
