I wounder if we can step out side this issue and take another look.
No doubt if we had been talking about say Witch Doctors most would not want their prayers and utterances in our schools.
We avoid even considering how many Gods exist, or did, in mans history.
We many of us, without taking a breath, ridicule other religions, say the involvement of the Muslim religion.
In every thing from what will be in education to who will govern in those country,s they control, or for some even ours.
Have we considered us, the folk who think there never was or will be a God?
I doubt we have or ever will, and question why
Why too side by side our schools tell of the eminence number of planets of the universe and how we truly came about and? the creationists myths
PS OUG mate do not over do the capitals it has the reverse effect
you want if you do.
Paul, do you think any party gains by being brave enough to stand alone on this issue
Time is on our side in this issue, having left our caves we have no use for such blankets to hide under

It is interesting that many align religious belief with political ideology. It is religion not politics. Christianity does not belong to any political creed. There are many Left leaning Christians as well as Right.

Paul,

Do the Greens, and your good self, support the Pope interfering in the internal politics of Australia?

Surely you would oppose such interference and would support your fellow citizens who are deprived of their democratic rights by the actions of this foreigner.

Is Mise "Do the Greens, and your good self, support the Pope interfering in the internal politics of Australia?" What do you think? There is enough Catholic clergy in Australia interfering with children we don't need Bergoglio interfering as well.

Do the Catholic clergy and their followers still practice self flagellation. Pope JP2, liked a bit of the self whipping, most likely got a few young nuns to give him a lash or three, as well. The self flage is a way they get their rock off. Do we still have parliamentary whips, do other members have to make a booking or do the whips do it at call?

But the Pope is interfering, so do you support the democratic rights of those affected?
Will you and the Greens stand up for their rights?

Will you back these deprived people against the Pope?
