BUT heaping wood on the fire is no answer
Belly,
I could not agree more with that. That's what the journalists & academic morons are doing with this issue.

Shock horror could it be that Indonesia is deliberately turning a blind eye to sinking boats
and drowning people.
Cherful,
Definitely not. That would go totally against the agenda.

Dear Bazz,

Where have we heard recently about Ministers not answering
questions for "security reasons?"
Sound familiar?

Not sure what you are on about there.
Assuming you are referring to Rudd & Gillard, then I would be annoyed
if they were silly enough to admit they did know about the tap on Yudiono's phone.
Gillard's intervention into the controversy was really bad form as it
could be construed as an apology.
I was not expecting them to confess. You seem to be taking the
opportunity to be throwing barbs at everyone in sight.

OTB I rarely engage with you.
Not hiding that.
Your pot boiling posts erk me.
But just for your information a past Attorney General Lynol Bowen *infamously raided ASIO*
To find out what they had been up to.
I without doubt could post 100 posts here telling of things Indonesia has done that we all would find wrong.
Another hundred could be written telling of Keitings and for that matter Howard,s courtship of that country.
*In the interests of this country*.
Unfortunately we did spy on their leaders wife and him and others in government by trying to listen to their mobile phone.
Then because America is America an unstable contractor who never should have held that job seeks notoriety!
Then? as was sure to happen *as is sure to happen again before the big mouthed idiot and his half witted Russian Masters silence him more revelations are to come.
Do we jump up and down heating and doing further harm or do we just say sorry and end it?
Of late a few posters target me, for telling the very few what they hear from others.
Some must first confront them selves comments are free, for all of us.

onthebeach,
It is a sickening blow-up by OUR own & Indonesia can now feign indignation to no end. It is the Rudd Government's fault & Abbott should apologise to Indonesia by making it extremely clear that it is the present Government who now has the unenviable job of sorting out that idiot's mess.
And yes Belly is spot-on on this one.
