Dear Bazz,

Where have we heard recently about Ministers not answering
questions for "security reasons?"
Sound familiar?

Foxy,

Surely you are not expecting anyone to believe that ex-PMs Kevin Rudd and Julia Whatshername and their Greens sidekicks in government, Bob Brown and Christine Milne, did not have access to information on intelligence polices, arrangements and protocols?

Would you like to venture reasons why they are forthcoming on what applied to Indonesia during their long watch?

otb,

I'm not suggesting anything of the kind.
Simply asking Bazz a question - if you'd
bothered to read my post you'd know that.
Stop twisting things and making wrong assumptions.
It's not a good look.

Foxy, "I'm not suggesting anything of the kind"

Good to know, then presumably you do not dispute that ex-PMs Kevin Rudd and Julia Whatshername and their Greens sidekicks in government, Bob Brown and Christine Milne, would have had access to information on intelligence polices, arrangements and protocols. Especially regarding Indonesia one would imagine, it being so often in the news following the truly stupid decision by Rudd to dump Howard's policy.

That answers your question, because plainly Kevin Rudd, Julia Whatshername and the awful Greens leaders knew about, or ought to have known about the security policies, arrangements and protocols in respect of Indonesia and other countries for that matter. Kevin Rudd and Julia Whatshername were frequent international tourists and to Asia, so they would most certainly received briefings anyway.

Foxy,

Do you need me to underline the obvious, that Rudd, Ms Whatshername and the awful Greens said squat and kept silent on on any existing security arrangements? Or do you expect that they really ought to have broadcast what they knew (and still know)? They didn't confirm or deny and in fact said nil, which is the opposite of what you are now demanding of the PM and government who have inherited the mess of their making.

otb,

We don't really know do we?

You can assume all you like.

I prefer to wait until all the facts are in.

It's an occupational habit.
