The problem with DU is that once it is exploded it vaporises into a radioactive gas of tiny particles that can travel vast distances into populated areas.

As well as those experienced in the battle areas, indications are that returned US soldiers are now having more babies with severe birth defects too.

What is a few babies with severe birth defects, compared to the wonderful pleasure of delivering freedom and democracy to the oppressed people of Iraq and Afghanistan etc. Not long now and the poor oil rich oppressed people of Iran will also feel the joys of US style freedom and democracy, along with a few million dead.
