You are right about a recession. Most think we missed it before but really all we did was put it off.
As the heat dies in the resources sector, unemployment rises and employment decreases, as interest rates fall to ridiculous levels and the dollar goes up, as wage demands get out of hand again and people move further in living beyond their means the whole card house is teetering and ready to fall.
How stupid is it to enter into a low doc mortgage with interest rates at the bottom and no guarantee of being able to service the loan when interest rates go up.
When they lose their homes I will be the last to offer sympathy for self inflicted wounds.
